Back Where? [AVATAR X NARUTO]

19: Misfortune

Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto all came out from the tree's, beat and tired. One had leaves and grass up in their hair while another was covered in rock and dirt top to bottom. The last had a soaked outfit which was complimented with a growling stomach. I scoffed then crossed my arms.

"What's this? None of you got anything?" I ask, acting as if I was annoyed.

Sakura glared. "As if! I tried to get a bell!" Sakura tries to defends.

I shook my head clicking my tongue with a smirk. I dipped my hand into my pocket. "You see Sakura...you tried to get a bell but I," I pulled out three bells from my pocket. "did get the bells."

Sakura stares in shock as her eyes widened. Naruto looked at me in awe, while cupping his hand around his stomach. Sasuke just scoffed being annoyed by how I got all three bells.
Kakashi came out from the trees clapping his hands. Pieces of of pebbles still around his clothing.

"I congratulate all of you." Kakashi says lazily. "You don't need to worry about going back to the Academy..." He mumbled inconsiderately.

'Really?! I did nothing but faint yet I still passed?!' Sakura thought, her eyes wide. Her cheeks faintly red but still in shock. Sasuke did nothing but smirk as if he knew we'd pass. Naruto jumped for joy thinking that we all just got free ramen tickets. I just sighed sand pinched the bridge of my nose knowing that something was wrong.

"That's right...you three..." Kakashi glares. "Must quit being ninja!" He barks as the three got stunned silent.

Sakura then blinked in confusion. "Three...? But we're four!" She exclaimed.

"Here comes the pain train." I mumbled with a groan. While rubbing the back of my neck.

"The Beifong was the only one who knew the point of this exercise!" Kakashi snarls while glaring at Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto. "You all don't have what it takes to be a ninja!" He yells.

Sasuke suddenly grits his teeth and charges at Kakashi, blinded by rage. But Kakashi obviously saw the attack coming and instantly pinned him down. Sasuke clenched his teeth and growled lowly.

"Sasuke-Kun!" Yelped Sakura who did nothing but stare in shock. Kakashi scoffs.

"You think being a ninja is easy huh?" Kakashi spat then twirled a kunai between his fingers. He planted it next to Sasuke throat which made Sasuke tense. "Sakura! Kill Ro or Sasuke dies!" Threatens Kakashi. But he takes his kunai back. "That's a way where the enemy could threaten you and you'd be dead."

The three think hard trying to figure out the big answer. It was boring for me to watch as my fuse shortened. "Starts with a T and ends with--"

"Ro! Let them figure it out themselves." Kakashi persisted.

"Naruto! You acted aggressively without talking any precaution! In battle, that can kill you! Ro did ask for your help but you were too reliant on your shadow clones to even recognize the potential you two could've had if you teamed up." Kakashi scolds looking over Naruto who only looked down in shame.

Then he looked over to the cherry blossom. "Sakura!" She already flinched at the tone. "You didn't even try to get a bell and was more reliant on Sasuke than the people that were closer to your location, Ro even said that you could've teamed up with her but you let your personal grudges and feelings get in the way of the goal!" Kakashi seethes a breath. "I can't forget how you even chased after Sasuke though you didn't know where he was, For those reasons you failed!"

Sakura hung her head in shame. She did not expect this but it still hurt her. I knew she wanted to become a Kunochi for her family but in this state she'll likely end up as a cashier in a restaurant for her small skill in fighting.
