39: Blood can't stain Me

Zuko and I raise my fists defensively. "What do you want from us?" I questioned with a glare.

Lucia holds out his palms while I saw his water skin shifting and swirling.

"Pft, your scroll you idiots." The girl taunts with a smirk. She placed her hands over her hips with flipping back her hair.

The spiky black haired boy looks at me. "Aren't you pretty." He grins devilishly. I glared his way while his eyes glinted mischievously.

Just as he stepped forward the boy with bandages wrapped around his face stopped him.

"Zaku...can't you tell? They don't have chakra...they're just like civilians." The man wrapped in bandages humorlessly laughs. "Its almost like they fell into a death trap." He chuckles as if we were already dead.

"Hey, he thinks we don't have power." Zuko grumbles his fists already igniting.

"Ignore it Zuko, Lucia and I can take care of it." I grit through clenched teeth. "Lucia can bend the water around them while I move the dirt and mud beneath their feet." Lucia nods to my plan then formed a stance.

Go! All of us thought as the Sound instantly charges at us.

"Lucia!" I exclaimed, ducking from the girl's kick. Without saying a word he instantly got drops of water around the air and aimed them at her leg.

Lock-on...go! Lucia thought flicking his wrist with his fingers controlling the water.

The sound kunoichi grunts and grips her leg which had tiny holes pierced through her camo-sweats.

Dammit! Who was it?! The sound kunoichi narrowed her eyes on me.

Then she tries for another punch which grazed the side of my ear. She attacks again with a punch aimed for my neck, I did a backbend using my arms to support myself. Then I clenched pieces of rock in my hands, springing back up and punching her shoulders.

She grunts and does a series of handsprings to get away from me.

"Thanks Lucia." I nodded as he smiled in return. Zuko sighs as a small breath of fire exhaled from his mouth, this didn't go unnoticed by the Sound ninja.

"Breath of fire? You can use fire jutsus?" The bandaged one questions with his wide-eye.

Zuko grinned. "I was waiting for recognition." Then he charged at the bandaged man.

"No--!" I couldn't reach Zuko it time when the guy Zaku crossed two kunai under my neck. Instantly I froze in place.

"Sorry lady, but one little move and you die along with that pretty face."

Screw this guy.

Zuko already threw fiery fists that lit and burned the forest grounds to a crisp. The bandaged man barely dodged,getting small burns and grazes over his body. 

I need to help...I thought but two kunai against my neck just couldn't do anything. Zaku held them with a smug look over his face while I stood frozen. Lucia saw me with wide-eyes but he was fending off that girl. 

As the kunai's touched together and made that little clink my eyes lit up.

Metal...metal is earth! It's just in fragments and pieces.

My fingers twitched then I shut my eyes closed, using seismic-sense my toes pressed the ground as I felt vibrations from all around that came in waves at a time. 

No one else is around us...just the sound ninja, my hand twitched. If I can just bend the kunai, I can get out of here.

My toes clenched then I take a deep breath.
