Back Where? [AVATAR X NARUTO]

03: Class Course

Today I was going to school! A real school! With people! Imagine the new friends I could make. I was feeling really excited and joyful right now. I know it's not all fun and games but a girl like me can dream...for now. Back at home I was home schooled  with Toph, taught by the most prestigious advisors in the Earth Kingdom. We never made friends with anyone, only having each other.

I snuck into the library and read books half of the night just for this day. Crazy, I know but nothing could really stop me when I'm happy. It's an academy not a school but same difference.

"Going to school!" I sang while running out the door, a bright smile on my face. Though everything is so new and unknown to me, I had to see the bright side.

"Oops... forgot something." I took my knee-high boots and popped out their bottoms, forcefully kicking my foot outwards.  "Stylish shoes goes to me!" I chuckled.

Then I started running to the direction of the Academy.

There it was, in front of me was the Ninja Academy. I grinned then hid behind a tree. Let's try not to blow my cover. I thought while draining the smile off my face. Then I emerged from the tree with a neutral look across my face. Stay calm, relaxed and try not to overreact I thought while walking inside the Academy.

Young kids from 5 to 13 we're here. I walked up to the reception counter to meet eyes with a man who had a scar across his nose. His brown hair was up in a ponytail and like everyone else, he had a Konoha headband.

"May I help you?" He asked with a grin.

"The Hokage assigned me to a class, I'm a ...transfer student named Rosé Beifong." I told him.

As if a light bulb went off in his mind, his eyes flickered like a light. "Oh! You're her?" He asked. I nodded.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Umino, Iruka." He lent out his hand for a hand shake.

"I'm guessing you're my teacher then if you already know who I am right?" I asked as I shook his head.

"Good assumption, and yes I am." He smiles kindly.

"Which classroom?".

"Down the hall, it's the second to last one, left side." He pointed down the hall of crowded kids. I shivered about being cramped.

"Thanks," I replied then started walking towards the class.

The shorter kids were mostly crowding the hall, talking, running, goofing off in the hallway.
I wish I could yell Move you sea-slugs or I'll move you! but that would be a bad choice. I crushed the grains of earth in my hand as I slipped by the group of kids and entered the classroom, that I hoped was right.

Then there I saw kids my age. There was hair colors I very unfamiliar with since back at the Earth Kingdom I only saw black and brown for hair colors. Some of them brought their attention to me, instantly knowing that I never been here. I just gave them a stare as they started looking away and going back to their own business.

I saw an empty seat beside a raven haired boy who had his fingers intertwined together and he looked like he was pondering by the window. I walked up to the empty seat and took it. The boy beside me didn't seem to mind nor care so we both didn't speak to each other. I rested my elbows on the desk and kept a straight posture. It's what I was taught to do back at the Earth Kingdom anyways.
