Back Where? [AVATAR X NARUTO]

18: Rocks, Knives, Bells

I embraced Zuko's arms which wrapped around me. Then I just buried my face into his chest while softly snoring. The alarm clock went off making my eyes shoot open. Zuko flinched and opened his eyes. Then he turned around angrily and smashed the alarm clock in burst of flames.

The clock's noise slowly stopped with circuits and electricity sparking out. I didn't know what a clock was until Lucia told me. Which reminds me that Lucia lives around the outskirts of the village and that I should visit him real soon.

Zuko blinked and then looked at me. "Ro...didn't your test start at 5?" He asked warily. I slowly nodded rubbing my eyes as I yawned loudly.

"Ro it's 7:22." He stated as I continued to yawn. Until it hit me like a boulder.

I screeched and jumped out of bed. Then started panicking as I pulled out my ninja outfit from my closet as I put it on in the bathroom. I came out just barely hooking my belt buckle while pulling up my short-shorts. After that I dashed downstairs grabbing water, three giant rocks and two apples. My hair was an utter mess but there wasn't any time to comb it. I heard Zuko mumble "See ya," as I slammed the door shut.

Using the rocks from my bag I formed boots of earth as I dashed through the empty morning streets while eating an apple.

"Don't eat breakfast or you'll puke." Kakashi's words rung in my head.

'He doesn't know the future.' I thought as I finished the apple, sucking on the core. I tossed the core on the forest grass then continued swiftly running to the training grounds.

But as I got there what shocked me was seeing Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura all still sitting and waiting for Kakashi. Naruto and Sakura instantly saw me walk through the trees as they stood up and shouted "You're Late!" Their voices rung in my ears as I made a discomforted face.

"Well technically Kakashi isn't here yet so he doesn't know I'm late." I said with a sly smirk.

Sakura fumed but then looked at my head then feet. Before she opened her mouth I said " I thought I was late so I didn't comb my hair and these are...new fashion boots in the Hidden Stone!" I lied at the last part as Sakura looked extremely intrigued by my boots.

We all waited in boredom for Kakashi to make his appearance. Now I feel a bit happy that I got some extra sleep since Sakura and Naruto weren't looking so good. Sasuke looked neutral but he was probably irritated with how Kakashi is late.

My stomach starts to grumble an hour after I came. So I pulled out the other apple I brought. Sakura gasped in shock. I raised a brow while creating a knife make of rocks. Soon I sliced the apple into 8 slices. Everyone can get two.

Everyone's stomach grumbled except my own but I obviously knew why.
"Don't eat breakfast or you'll puke." Rung in my head as I remembered Kakashi's warning.

But nothing happened to me. He didn't poison my food, I didn't vomit and every seems good. If nothing happened to me then I believe that nothing will happen to them.

"Here catch." I lazily throw everyone two apple slices.

They all looked warily at each other. "No! Remember what Kakashi-Sensei said! We'll just get sick and throw up if we eat!" Sakura yelled tossing the perfectly good slice on the grass.

I sighed picking up the slices."Kakashi is a human not a god, he can't predict when we puke or when we sleep not even when we blink so in short he won't know." I shoved the apple slices to Sakura. "Just eat you need strength or some vitamins in your stomach to get through the test." I reasoned like a mother.

Sasuke and Naruto looked swayed by my answer. But Naruto's head continued to turn between me and Sakura. Since he seems to have a crush on the cherry blossom. Naruto choked and as I looked up I saw Sasuke stuffing the apple down his mouth.
