JD
I had just asked J out this morning and I want to take her out tonight because I've had these reservations for awhile when I was planning on asking her out and then I got all chicken about it and backed up from the decision. I am taking her to dinner which she will probably reject because after that I plan on taking her to the movies and she likes movie food so we will probably just have dinner at the theater instead.
"What should I wear?!" J yelled from the bedroom as I was emerging from the shower.
"Wear whatever babe you will look beautiful in anything you wear." I smiled at her and she turned around to see the towel around my waist and just whipped right back around refusing to look at me until I at least had pants on. I put my pants on and go up behind her and snake my arms around her waist as she stands at her big full body mirror.
"You look beautiful babe." I whisper into her ear and I think she was surprised by me standing there because she shuddered at my touch.
"Thank you." She turned around in my arms and kissed me.
She turned back around to her mirror to see herself and to fix her hair which looked fine just as it was. But not according to her no matter how many times I tell her that I think she looks fine she always finds something about her to change or fix. That's one of the only things that I find annoying about J: She is so beautiful and perfect yet she tries so hard to change everything about herself. I wish she would stop because I love her just the way she is.
"What are you thinking about?" J asks.
"You of course!" I stare at her fixing her hair and smile at her until she finally walks over to me and kisses me and says that she wants me to know that she thinks I look good wth no shirt on.
"You like me without shirt more than you like me with one?" I ask laughing at her comment.
"No, I just think that you look even better when I can see all of those perfectly toned muscles instead of them being hidden under some shirt. Quite frankly though I think you look good in everything." She smiles at me and I peck her on the lips.
"I have to put a shirt on now if you don't mind!" I yelled to her as I went downstairs to retrieve my shirt from the dryer at her house since I didn't plan on staying the night last night I had to wash my clothes for today. I walked into the washroom and there was her older brother Brandon and he just looked at me with an evil glare.
"Why the hell are you shirtless in our fucking house!?" He yelled softly getting slightly aggravated with me.
"Because your sister and I had a friendly sleep over and my clothes were dirty and so I didn't have a change so I popped them into the washer so that I would have clothes for today. But of course if you would like I can always just walk around naked."
"No! Just get your clothes, put 'em on and get away from me please!" He yelled and that caused his mom to come out of her room and ask what was going on.
"We were just discussing how to work the washer and dryer you know us boys mom. We can't use this stuff like you girls can. Kudos to you mom." He said to her.
"Well thank you and by the way James you should put your shirt on before you go up there with Jordan." She told me this and I put my shirt on immediately and walked upstairs to J.
"Man your brother is crazy! He got mad at me because I didn't have a shirt on and so your mom came in to see what all the yelling was for and your brother lied to her like always. Then your mom told me to put my shirt on before I went back upstairs."
"Sounds like you had quite the trip when you went to get your shirt!" She laughed so I laughed with her because when I thought about it like her it was pretty funny.
J has always thought about things different than everyone else and that I love about her. Once I dropped my ice cream and she told me that the ants were gonna have a feast. I laughed at the memory which caused J to look at me. She must think that I'm crazy because I just laughed for no reason.
"What's so funny?" She asks.
"Do you remember when we were kids and I dropped my ice cream cone that one time and you told me that the ants were gonna have a feast?"
"Oh my gosh I do remember that. What made you think about that though?" She asks me her perfectly sculpted eyebrows furrowed.
"I was just thinking about how you always look at things differently like you are just a ball of sunshine no mater what happens to you or had happened."
"Wow! I didn't know that I was like that. Thanks for telling me that JD!" She said sounding excited about her new characteristic.
"You know what I mean though?" I ask
"Yeah of course that no matter what I am always optimistic!" She said.
"You know you could probably put that on your application for college in two years and they would be impressed with you." I laughed.
"Yeah you know what I just might!" She laughed and laughed.
I swear her laugh is so contagious that it doesn't mater if you know what she is laughing at or not you just start laughing because she is laughing.
"Come on let's go so we an get there in time to get a good seat!" I tell her as she trails behind me.
We rode the whole way in comfortable silence.
We arrived and I walked around to open her door and held my hand out for her like she was a queen. In my eyes she is but she will never know that.
"Thank you good sir!" She said in a British accent and started laughing which made me laugh because she's just so amazing and sweet.
*at the concession stand at the movies*
"Yes two large buttered popcorn buckets and one extra large pepsi with two straws." She ordered for us and we went and found our seats and I looped my arm around her shoulder and kissed her forehead before the movie started and she closed her eyes and smiled.
