JD
Jordan called me yesterday and told me she was going to Tennessee to visit her grandparents for the week we had off from school for winter break.
She said she was leaving tomorrow or Friday so she wouldn't get a packed flight. It does make me kind of sad that she's gonna be gone for a week but I think I might live.
I'm currently in seventh period and it's the last class of the day and I am literally just waiting for this dumb ass bell to ring do that I can go to Jordan's house to say goodbye and see her off to the airport for a week.
I really don't want her to leave. This will be the first time we're gonna be apart since we've been together. This is gonna be a first but I think I have at least a 20 out of 100 percent to make it through this. I don't know why I'm talking like she's breaking up with me or leaving me for the rest of my life. She'll be back before I know it. I'm sure of it.
That damn bell finally rings and I absolutely cannot wait to get out of here and get to her. She didn't come to school today so that she could pack. I've been texting her all day and she said that instead of going home I should come over to her house to drive her to the airport and to be honest I was gonna do that anyways wether she wanted me to or not. Even though I'm sure she wouldn't have left if I didn't take her to the airport and say bye.
As I'm walking to my car I see Veronica Garcia. Don't you just hate your exes that make everything more complicated than it needs to be?
Veronica Garcia is most definitely one of those people. If you have or had a relationship with her she makes everything sooo fucking complicated. We went out at the end of eighth grade and we had a relationship for literally two months and ever since then she's been hunting me down and trying to talk to me and convince me to get back with her. I used to think about it a lot but now that I have Jordan I would never get back with Veronica.
"Hey J!" Veronica fake smiles in my direction. Or maybe she actually smiles? I don't think anyone can actually tell anymore.
" Don't call me that. What do you want this time? I have somewhere to be and I am not in the mood to play your fucking games." I say not regretting a single word that spills out of my mouth.
"Damn, you'll never change will you?" She asks.
"I have no idea what that means but if you don't move out of my way I will run you over without even hesitating." I say not feeling these games today.
"Fine." She says.
"Okay then?" I say confused as to whether she will actually move or not.
"I wanted to tell you I'm having a party on Friday and you should totally be there." She says.
This is her way of trying to get me to go to her party so that she can get me drunk and attempt to make me wanna get with her.
Which would never happen."I won't be there." I say.
"Aww. Why not?" She asks.
"Because I don't fucking feel like it now move out of the way dammit!" I yell getting annoyed because I don't wanna be late and make Jordan miss her flight.
"Okay well I'll save you a dance!" She says sauntering away thinking someone actually cares that she's really trying hard to look pretty. She really does try way too hard.
I get in the car and speed to J's house so that I can drive her to the airport and kiss her goodbye.
I pull up at her house. As I 'm walking up the steps to her front door I see her run to the door and it swings open.
She runs our and jumps into my arms.
"Well if I didn't know any better I would say that you missed me?" I say smiling at how cute she is.
She nods her head uncontrollably.
"Which airport am I taking your royal highness to?" I ask.
She smiles and pulls me inside.
"Where are we going?" I ask genuinely confused. She's gonna miss her flight.
"You'll see." She says still smiling.
Okay? Not even gonna lie she's making me a little worried.
"Is this the part where you kidnap me?" I ask smiling.
"I don't think that would be necessary." She laughs.
"I think you're right." I say laughing with her.
Right as she gets to the top of the stairs I stop and she looks at me with a puzzled expression.
"What is it?" She asks.
She continues to look confused and I walk toward her and carefully pushed her up against the wall. I lightly brush my lips over her full rose colored plump lips.
I pull back and grab her hand.
"Continue." I say smiling.
She walks me into her room and immediately see all the suitcases she's packed and I was surprised.
"Why did you pack so many bags?" I say laughing.
"They aren't all mine." She says.
I look at her confused as to who she was taking with her.
"You didn't think I could honestly go anywhere without you did you?" She asks smiling.
I pick her up off her feet and spin her around in circles.
"Thank God because I wouldn't have survived a whole week without you." I say kissing her.
I pull away and look at her.
"We're gonna miss our flight." I say.
"Oh yeah I almost forgot." She says.
"Well let me grab all the luggage and we'll be on our way to the airport!" I say smiling.
"Okay." She says getting up on her tip-toes and kisses me.
Once all the bags are loaded into my car we're on our way to the airport.
We get out of the car and hand our tickets to the flight attendant and put our bags in the overhead storage. We sit in our seats and buckle up as the flight gets ready to take off. The flight from California to Tennessee is roughly 4 and a half maybe 5 hours. J will probably fall asleep and I'll be spending my watching Netflix.
Tennessee here we come!
