I walked out of the bathroom to find James still sitting there on his bed.

"Why aren't you at school?" I asked him walking over to the bed.

"What do you mean? I'm not going to school babe." He said.

"What?! You can't just stay home because I am?!" I yelled at him causing his younger sister to walk in. Their mom is gone to work and told Cherish to get on the bus and since I was staying there with him I would either ride the bus or ride with James.

I think he knows something is up though because he skips school all the time but never on a free day where we don't have to go to any of our classes and we can pretty much just go wherever as long as we stay on school grounds.

After the long pause between me yelling and him getting his sister out of the room he came back in and sat down next to me on the couch. He reached over and put his hand on my thigh and I got up and moved to the bed.

"What the fuck is that for?!" He yelled.

"You don't want me touching you now either?!" He yelled again after I didn't give an answer to the first question.

"I don't even fucking know what the fuck your problem is but why the fucking hell are you moving away from me?!" He continued yelling.

"Why are you yelling at me?!" I yelled back.

"Because when I was trying to make you feel better by talking to you... No you know what?!" He yelled.

"What." I simply answered.

"I am going to school but you're going with me so let's go!" He yelled grabbing his backpack.

"I'm not even dressed yet." I said pointing to the sweats and t-shirt that I threw on with the intention of not going to school.

"I don't give two shits!" He yelled this time walking down the hall.

I plopped down on the bed and just started crying. I heard footsteps coming and i didn't care anymore so I just stayed right there and continued crying.

"He's and asshole isn't he J?" The little voice asked me.

I sat up to see Cherish in all her glory standing there looking at me with a sad face.

"I hate seeing people crying." She said looking away a little down the hall.

"I'm sorry." I said.

"It's fine and here's a little tip, I mean I know you two grew up together but he will say sorry. He always does."

"I know Cher." I said wiping away my tears.

"Why don't you just let me convince him to get his ass back up here and apologize to you?" She asked looking curious.

I looked at the clock and back at her. "Cuz you're about to miss your bus." I laughed.

She turned to the clock and ran as fast as she could down the stairs and to the front door and left with a loud slam following behind her.

"Why the fuck aren't you down here?! I said you're going whether you want to or not!" He said coming up the stairs as I started to cry again from his tone and loudness.

"Why are you still-" He was cut off when he came in contact with my water filled orbs looking up into his.

"Oh baby, I'm so sorry... I didn't mean to make you cry." He said reaching over with outstretched arms.

I leaned into him feeling his warmth and embracing him even tighter.

"It's okay baby you don't have to go and I won't either." He said looking saddened by my features.

"No, babe you should go to school, I am perfectly fine." I said trying to smile at him but couldn't.

"You're obviously not." He said looking me in the eyes.

"I'm not." I said crying all over again with JD holding onto me.
