I believed you loved me with the way you stared.
I want to hold your hand like lovers do
show you my love as I cease your gaze.
People judge my one sided love I have for you
most say its just a phase.
I can't help but think of you late at night
wondering if your asleep
if you'll ever let me hug you tight.
the moon shimmers through my window as I absorb the present light
this crush is just as pure
just feels so right.
you show me a way of wonder.
you give me joy
you give me laughter...
this feeling isn't right
but you are my type.
I want to tell you good morning
I want to tell you good night.
Don't know why I love you
Don't know why you ask
my love, you mean the world to me
theirs nothing more than my love to give as a task.
