.Karina sat on the floor of her bathroom staring into his eyes. The cold tiles cooled her legs down as she sat in her dark green shorts. She sat with her calves pressed against her thighs, just looking into her friends brown eyes; one half lidded and bruised.
He wore a simple grey t-shirt and blue boxers, his thighs covered in cuts. The male was traised in injuries that drew Karina speechless, and it wasn't just his thighs or bruised knee. From shoulders to wrists, cuts covered his arms with dirty bandaids only covering a few scratches. Karina looked the brunet up and down, eyes fixated on the blood dripping from his forehead, nose, and mouth.
She wouldn't ask how it happened, the ginger simply scooted closer and reached for her friends boxers. He became flustered and confused, but allowed her to make him unclothed. Once he was naked, Karina opened a cabinet from beneath the bathroom sink, snatching every medical supply she owned.
Starting with his thighs, She wrapped bandages around her friends legs, also placing a knee brace on the knee that he had the most trouble with.
Karina helped him put his boxers back on. He struggled, but after a long battle with his weak limbs, he got the blue underwear on. It then became time for Karina to work on his arms. She started by wrapping the cuts that were small, then for a certain cut, She got some thread and a curved needle. Karina pricked his skin with the needle, sowing the cut shut and wrapping bandages around it. Tears begged to leave his hazel eyes, which glossed them as he batted his eye lashes.
Once his arms were done, the ginger moved in closer. She now sat with his thighs on top of hers, close enough for their chests to touch if he didn't slouch due to the high difference. Karina looked through her first aid kit soon finding a wash cloth that she got wet with rubbing alcohol to clean the cuts. She picked up the small towel and pressed it against the male's forehead after lifting his bangs. As she held the cloth to his forehead with her right hand, She used her free one to wipe the blood from his nose and lips with some tissues. He didn't know where to put his hands but as the rubbing alcohol met the slash in his forehead, he found himself gripping Karina's shirt.
Karina placed a bandage over the cut on his forehead after the blood had stopped gushing out. He looked much better now, but of course some blood seeped through some bandages.
The two began staring at each other, contemplating in their heads of they should say anything. He soon looked away, sadness and vulnerability upon his face.
Karina flashed him a sad smile, wrapping her arms around his neck, not squeezing him to hard as she hugged the teen. After subsiding shock, he started hugging back.
Tears began to fall from both their faces but Karina refused to let her tears go noticed. He softly choked on his tears as his grip on Karina's long sleeve shirt tightened. She comforted him, rubbing her hand up and down his back as he cried on her shoulder

((I dedicate this to my friend; we all deserve a shoulder to cry on. We don't need to ask for it, we don't need to ignore it, they'll come to you in time and you'll find it to be quite comforting.))
