((Dedicated to a woman I met in Walmart; she doesn't know I made this and the name is not her actual name don't worry^^ This is also dedicated to her husband, but I wrote this in a manner so you can picture it as anyone: a hubby, wife, boy/girlfriend you lost, etc.))
I saw a shirt in the store and it reminded me of you.
The one I once loved,
the one I once knew.
You never liked the bright color.
only wore it once,
so I asked if you liked it...
you said to stop being a bother.
Do you remember the teens?
I asked about your size,
You didn't have to be so mean.
After I saw the shirt
I made sure to walk safely home.
When you left it hurt
I laid in bed for days to mope
I clutched the shirt with everything I had.
The smell of you soon disappeared from my tears,
And it made me sad.
The one thing I kept to remind me,
of that perfect person who would lay beside me.
I love you too,
I just didn't know what to do.
Now I hold the shirt,
Whisper, "I miss you."
