Poetic Problem Book I

When you get older

When I Was Younger, Things were easy.

When I Was Younger, I wished on stars.

Life was full of dreams- days went by quickly-

I never realized how lucky I was.

When I was Little- I didn't worry about much like I do now,

I would play in snow, watch the birds fly, eat ice cream

.

But when you're older-

life changes.

You worry about grades, about work, the stress

Anxiety attacks you when you don't see it coming

When you're older things become difficult, expectations change,

you think it'll get easier- but it doesn't- 

the older you are- just gets you less help.

.

when you are younger-

you take things for granted.

When you are younger- You play in sand without the fear it'll leave you sinking the older you get

adults plant our seeds, but soon they'll stop watering the plant-

what will you do?

will you make the time to water it?

Or will you let it die?
