"We just met each other an hour ago, Dr. Jameson." Umayos ako ng tayo and cross my arms.

Ginagago ba ako ng doktor na'to?!

"Really, I do like you. It may sound cliche--"

"Stupid." I interrupted but he just smiled at me.

Can't this guy stop making that smile on his face!

Wierd and scary guy.

"Look, I like you at the very moment I saw you in the restaurant--" I stop him by raising my hand infront of his face.

"Ikaw ang tumingin sa akin. Huwag mo kong pagsasabihan ng ganiyan dahil nakakatakot kang pakinggan. We JUST MET, we JUST KNEW each other, and lastly... WALA AKONG PAKEALAM sa nararamdaman mo."

Instead of offending him ay tumawa siya. "Impossibly stupid indeed."

Napa-ikot ako ng mata

HIS SIDE

Pasado alas onse na ako ng gabi umuwi sa bahay and I open my laptop and head directly to video chat with Jacky, but sadly she's not online.

Probably sleeping from work.

Instead, I click the person I always hang out with in the video call.

"Hey J!" Bati ko.

"Race! My dear cousin! How are you?" Bungad niya

"I'm fine... or not." Pagdadalawang isip kong sagot

"I think you have a problem about that girl aren't you?"

"Yeah sort of."

This is what I like about my cousin. We have the same attitudes, the same charisma, the same taste, and the same sur name.

"Alam mo couz, I met this woman from my work earlier. She's stunning and attractive. I can't even let my eyes off of her!"

I winced.

"You really sounds like a wierd speciman talking in tagalog J haha! Keep on improving!"

"I am! Haha! Any news about your girl BESTFRIEND?"

Ini-emphasize niya ba talaga ang salita na 'yon ano? He keeps on bragging me that just to annoy the hell out of me.

"She's in Laguna without asking my fucking permission!"

He shrugged. "I can't blame her. Base on your story, para ka ng nanay niya sa kaibigan mo. So, is it work related?"

"Oo, sabi daw niya. But my problem is she's with this Engineer guy again!" I said in gritted teeth.

The thought of that guy is with my precious Jacky... I want to punch him!

"Akala ko pa may asawa na 'yun?"

Bumuntong hininga ako. "But still, he's attracted to her J! He's getting my bestfriend away from me!" I burst out.

Naalala ko pang yinakap niya si Jacky sa mismong harapan.

SA MISMONG HARAPAN KO! DARN IT!

Katrabaho niya lang 'yung gago nayon, pero hinayaan niyang yakapin siya? Tapos ako na bestfriend niya AYAW NIYA?!
