A quick little headcanon-

Maybe Horace, in all the years of living in the loop, picked up a bunch of different instruments such as the piano, flute, violin, all that stuff.

You know what? Maybe all the peculiars can play ( not necessarily well)an instrument. What would they be?

Emma- She would probably play the clarinet or the piccolo. Something delicate. She has to be careful not to melt it though.

Jacob- Probably the drums

Hugh- He butchers the piano, so he just plays around with Olives xylophone.

Olive- The xylophone.

Enoch- The ratchet. He plays it masterfully.

Horace- ( see the top) He is one of those people that can play a bazillion different instruments. He only wants to play classical instruments, though.

Fiona- Maybe the flute. Yeah, the flute.

Claire- She wants to one day play the piano, but for now she just annoys everyone with the recorder. She has two so her and her backmouth can play. Usually they play different songs... At the same time.

Bronwyn- She plays the trumpet. Victor used to play it and in her free time she took it up. She really enjoys it.

Millard- He focuses on his studies. He can sort of play the piano, though.

Miss Peregrine- She can play the piano. She seldom does, but at the house in on the island, she would play for the children.
