as you hugged taehyung, you felt a huge sense of relief throughout your body. almost like a huge weight had been lifted off of your chest. you smiled so much, happy to have one of your best friends back.

but this joy and happiness didn't last long.

you looked to your left and realized that your father was right outside of the garden, looking at the two of you right through the window.

your eyes widened, and fear took over what was once happiness. you quickly pushed taehyung back. he stared at you, in shock at your actions.

"yah ae what was that for-" he cut himself off when he realized you weren't looking at him, only to what was on the left of you.

he turned, only to see your father glaring at the two of you. taehyung turned back, and you did the same.

"i-i... ae... what is happening" he said making direct eye contact with you.

"m-my father... he- he didn't want us seeing each other. nonetheless even coming in contact with each other" you said with your shaky voice

you could tell by the look in his eyes that he would do anything to not talk to your father. your father clearly wanted an explanation, in which both you and tae wanted to avoid giving.

taehyung looked around for any possible way out as your father was blocking the door from the outside. taehyung quickly grabbed your hand, lifting you up from the bench, once he found an exit.

the only other exit was the window- but it has to be better than the door. ignoring your father was the easiest way out.

taehyung opened the window for the both of you and grabbed your hand in his. you sat on the ledge of the window, pretty scared even if it was only two stories up.

he noticed your nervousness and turned to you. he lifted up your hand and pressed a small kiss on it making you blush ear to ear.

"it's going to be okay. i got you. i will be here to protect you. the pools right there. it's not that far. everything's going to be alright." he said comfortingly.

you took a deep breath in, whats the worst that can happen? it's not even that high. but why were you so scared?

you shook it off, and you both began the countdown for when to jump.

"three...two...one..."

you tightened your grasp in taes hand, hoping for the sense of extra protection.

you both jumped off and suddenly, life felt like it was in slow motion. you felt the wind blowing through your hair and the feeling of fear and excitement combined into one. as you reached closer and closer to the water, the two of you fell in the water at the same time making a loud splash.

your goal was to get as least attention as possible so no one would catch you skipping class, although so far that wasn't working out so well.

you two were now completely submerged in the water. looking for the closest ladder to get out, taehyung turned to you.
