deciding what to wear was always the hardest part.

it was now around 8:45, and i still have no clue.

something cute? classy? casual?

i rummaged through my closet until i found an outfit.

i tucked in my white tee shirt into my black jean skirt and pulled over a black and white checkered flannel on top.

i stood in front of the mirror, adjusting my outfit to make it look perfect.

this looks decent.

i knew that mee would get here early, just like she always does, so i grabbed my phone and my wallet, laced up my converse and got ready to head out of the door.

i checked my phone to see if she had texted yet.

mee: im hereeeeee

as i closed the door to my house, i saw mee on her phone.

i smiled at the thought of finally having some time with my best friend. we never have time to hang out anymore. our schedules outside of school are completely different, not to mention we're not in any classes together.

as i walked over to mees car, i noticed a ruffling sound coming from the bushes on the side of my house.

eun ae: ill be there in a sec.

mee: ok don't be too long <3

being the curious self i am, i followed the sound.

"hello? who's there?" i asked.

the ruffling stopped.

i looked around.

i felt that there was a presence standing behind me.

i felt its warm breath on my neck,

giving me goosebumps.

not wanting to turn around, i hitched my breath.

it felt like i was paralyzed.

i wanted to run.

but i couldn't.

i wanted to scream.

but i couldn't.

two hands wrapped around my eyes.

i started breathing in and out heavily, and quickly.

"shh"
