"wait so you're trying to tell me you two are seriously not dating?"

i nodded as i began eating my food. the other day mee had seen the way taehyung wrapped his arm around my shoulder and the way we were skipping classes together. i guess i never really had the time to catch her up on everything.

"damn ae. you really fooled the whole school"

"well that's the thing, the whole school thinks we're a 'thing' but it was all an act. jungkook found out and he kind of told my dad and now mydadthinkstaeisabadpersonand-"
i began rambling until mee stopped me before i could continue anymore.

"woah woah woah. slow down there ae."

i took a deep breath in.
"ok well basically my dad doesn't want me breathing the same air as taehyung anymore"

"isn't that kind of hard considering you're neighbors? and you have like the same classes?" she asked

i shrugged. if i was completely honest i don't believe this is fair at all, but at the same time i can see where my dad is coming from.

"and one last thing, why exactly did jungkook know?"

"jungkook kinda sorta basically asked me out to boba this one day and i kinda just spilled the tea haha" i said nervously laughing as mee sent a glare towards the boy who was coming over to our table.

the smiling boy sat his lunch tray towards the middle of the table and began to sit down, along with namjoon, jin, yoongi, hoseok, jimin, and taehyung.

even considering the circumstances, taehyung still sat next to me. as per usual i sat across from mee, and next to jimin. i had seemed to get along with jimin pretty well lately, but jungkook and i havent really talked since the "incident."

"so ae," i heard jimins soft velvet-like voice begin "what are you and taehyung doing this weekend hmm?" he said with a smirk on his face as he wiggled his eyebrows.

i almost choked on my salad.

"uh what"

he leaned in a little closer. "oh c'mon ae you know what i'm talking about" he stated with a wink.

by now i had already told jimin that taehyung and i weren't really dating, only that we were just close friends. i may have left out a few "important" parts but he doesn't need to know those.

i glared at him which made him back away and continue eating with amusement.

"that's your friend right ae?" mee asked pointing to becca behind me

"uhm i mean i guess"

taehyung turned around to look at becca too. he stared for a good minute or so.

"taehyung. you're staring." jimin stated bluntly making taehyung turn around and blush.

i couldn't help but feel the slightest bit of jealousy fill my body. i guess i didnt want taehyung to look at other girls like that, but i knew he wasn't mine.

soon enough, the lunch period had ended. i stood up and walked over to the trashcan to throw away my tray. mee and i were walking to our lockers when jimin whispered in my ear, "come with me"

"why?" i asked

"you'll see just c'mon"

waving goodbye to mee, jimin dragged me into an empty classroom. he closed the door behind us and i furrowed my eyebrows at him in confusion.

"let's make him jealous" jimin blurted

"what"

"you're so oblivious ae. we all knew you hated seeing taehyung stare at another girl"

"well i-"

my sentence was interrupted by a pair of soft, lush lips pressing against mine.

our lips moved in sync, at a slow and steady pace. i wrapped my arms around jimins neck as his hands travelled their way down to my waist.  i then closed my eyes and allowed myself to get lost in jimins trance.
