quick lil clarification

in this past chapter, taehyung brings her back to xuxis grave. xuxi is aes ex-boyfriend whom we learned died in a crash earlier in this story.
taehyung asks the question, "why didn't you tell me?" in which he didn't know that the xuxi she once dated was the same one they were all once friends with when they were young. ae was too young to remember most of their memories, but faint ones still remained.
when ae suddenly remembers seeing a familiar bracelet on taehyung, she realizes it looks just like hers. the reason she didn't notice this at first is due to the fact that it is almost always covered up by the sleeve of a hoodie, jacket, shirt, etc. (xuxi also had this bracelet)
the primary reason these bracelets are a key point in this chapter is because ae originally didn't remember tae. he had obviously changed over the years so she simply didn't recognize him due to his "new" appearance. the bracelets show a sign of trust. they show that the two were once connected and nonetheless best friends.
in the beginning, taehyung seems like a total douche. this is for one reason and one reason only, he wanted to play it off as if he didn't know her. taehyung had tried various times telling her. hiding in the bush was one of his incredible "master plans"
eun aes dad remembers taehyung right away. but because taehyung wanted a fresh start, in hopes of not reminding her of the heartbreak she went through before, he requested for her dad to pretend to not like him.
taehyung wanted a fresh start.
he wanted to show he would do anything for her if he needed to.

also:
i guess i never really made this clear, but the title "you fooled me" was never intended to be a quote in this book. rather, it was supposed to kind of just be inferred throughout.

if any of you guys are confused about anything else that happened in this story please don't be afraid to ask, i'll most likely have an answer :)
i just kinda figured that this chapter may be kind of confusing so i hope this cleared things up.
