Chapter 28: The Healing

Hands down.  My favorite song in the Camila album.  This and In The Dark is my favorite ooh and NBTS too.  But this song made me ball my eyes out.  Oof.  Anyways let's proceed to the chapter shall we?

Roni's POV.

I've been thinking about what Aaron said last night.... He was right but I think I need a little bit more time. Last night I had to sleep In Ethan's room and Grayson had to sleep in my room with Nessa.  I think they told Alex and Lauren what happened cuz he asked me if I was okay and honestly I wasn't.  The guy I used to love is here,  my sister lied to me,  my boyfriend's brother lied to me.  I'm pretty sure I'm gonna forgive them soon but just not now.  I need more time. I couldn't sleep at all last night,  I couldn't stop thinking about what happened.  I couldn't stop crying 

"Hey.... Are you okay? " Ethan asked me.  "No.... " I said.  "Roni are you rlly not gonna forgive them? " Ethan asked.  "I will but... I just need a little bit more time." I said.  "Is it really that bad? " Ethan asked.  "Ethan...." I said.  "Roni.... Nessa is so broken right now and so are you.  But she kept that secret for a reason.  She didn't want you to get hurt" Ethan said.  ".... I know that its just that-" Before I could finish he cut me off.  "She broke your promise?  Roni there are no promises that are always gonna be kept hidden.  There will always be a time where the promise is broke..  Don't let this promise get into the friendship with you and Nessa.  " Ethan said.  "You're right but... I jus- I just need some space rn..... " I said.  "Well thats ur decision. I love you Roni and I want you to be happy.  Whatever ur decision is I'm sure its the right one" Ethan said.  "I love you too.  Thanks E" I said as I hug him and he hugs back.

Nessa's POV.

I couldn't sleep at all last night.  Roni went to go sleep at Ethan's room as Grayson went to sleep  in my room.  "Morning Nessa" Gray said.  "Morning... " I said.  "Sleep well? " Gray asked.  "No... I didn't sleep at all" I said.  "She's gonna forgive you okay? Just give her some time" Gray said.   "Yeah I know.... " I said as my phone vibrates.  It was a FaceTime from Marco.  I answer it and he appears with a smile which was cute btw.  "Hey there how's it go- why are ur eyes puffy? "  Marco asked.  "Oh it's nothing" I said.  "She's been crying" Grayson said.  "Shut up" I said.  "Hey Gray! Also why? " Marco asked.  "Hi" Grayson said.  "Aaron's here" I said. "Aaron who? " Marco asked.  "Aaron Burriss" I said.  "No....no...no ur kidding right? " Marco asked.  "No we're not.  Nessa and I knew about a week ago we kept it a secret cuz Aaron told us to we blackmailed Aaron that if he wouldn't tell her in a week we would and then Aaron told Roni yesterday then Roni found out that Nessa and I knew before,  Roni got mad,  her and Nessa got into a huge fight and she's still ignoring her until now" Gray said.  "Wow.... A lot sure did happened" Marco said.  "Yeah" I said.  "Are u okay?" Marco asked.  "No... " I said.  "Don't worry Nessa,  Roni is gonna forgive you. You guys are gonna sort things out and things are gonna go back to the way it were.  Just don't think about the negative side. " Marco said.  "Yeah... I know I just can't...lose her.  she's the most important person in my life Marco.  I would pick her over anyone." I said.  "Yeah don't worry you'll work it out okay? "Marco asked.  " Okay" I said.  "So wipe those tears out,  and smile to the world because your smile makes everyone feel better" Marco said as I smile.  "There it is! " Marco said.  "Thanks Marco" I said.  "Ur welcome" Marco said.  "I love you" I said.  "I love you too" Marco said.  "And I love you guys too" Grayson said.  "Damn you're so extra" I said.  "Like you're not" Grayson said as I roll my eyes and Marco laughs.  "What are u laughing at? " Grayson and I said at the same time.  "What the hell.... That was so weird.  Are u guys twins too? " Marco said making fun of us as we both roll our eyes.  "Okay this is getting so weird you both might actually be twins.  Plot twist, you and Grayson are twins and Roni and Ethan are twins.  " Marco said.  "Ew. Wtf that's incest" Grayson said. "Oh yeah...i didn't notice that" Marco said.  "Ur stupid" I said laughing.  "And your extra" Marco said.  "And I'm handsome" Grayson said.  "Wow. You really just love ruining moments huh" Marco said.  "That's who I am" Grayson said as me and Marco rolled our eyes.   "So you guys are the twins now since you both roll your eyes" Grayson said.  "Okay ew ew ew that's gross no" I said as Grayson laughs.  "You're both ridiculous" Marco laughs as we did too until we heard the door open.  We looked and  saw Ethan  and Roni.

"Hey guys... It's time for breakfast" Ethan said.  "Hey.... " Grayson and I said at the sane time.  "Hey Roni" I said as she ignored me,  looked at Ethan  and said "can we go now? ". " Oh um Marco.  I gtg have breakfast.  I'll TTYL I love you" I said.  "I love you too" Marco said then hung up. Gray and I walked near to Ethan and Roni and now were across them.  "Roni... " I said.  "No. Don't talk to me... Pls" Roni said shutting me up as i look down and say "okay". We had a few moments of awkward silence until Gray cut it off.  " Well this is awkward.. "Gray said. " YEAH.  WE KNOW" me Ethan and Roni said at the same time.  "Ya know I think I should rather have breakfast and enjoy myself than be here in this awkward room" E said.  "I'll go with you" Roni said grabbing Ethan's arm as we follow them.  "Ugh what the hell am I gonna do? " I asked.  "I don't know with you" Gray said.  "Seriously?!  That's all u have to say? " I asked.  "Then what do u want me to say? " Gray asked.  "I don't know!  Like a piece of advice" I said.  "Well I'm sorry but I ain't no good at that" Gray said as I roll my eyes.  "I'm just kidding.  Just... Give her time Nessa" Gray said as I shook my head up and down.

45 mins later we were all still in the same table eating.  Not saying a single word to each other.  "OKAY THAT'S IT.  I'M OUT.  I HATE AWKWARD SITUATIONS ESPECIALLY THIS.  WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?!  U USED TO BE SISTERS!  THE BEST OF FRIENDS!  JUST BC A SINGLE PROMISE IS BROKEN DOESN'T MEAN EVERYTHING HAS TO BE BROKEN TOO.  JEEZ PPL PLS SORT THINGS OUT CUZ I CAN'T DEAL WITH ANY OF THIS AWKWARDNESS ANYMORE" Alex said standing up and leaving.  "Ya know if guys had period that would probably be him on his period." Ethan said.  "Yeah Lauren what'd you do to him? " Grayson asked.  "Excuse me but I didn't do anything" Lauren said as we all kept quiet again.  "AND.... I'm out.  I sure hope u guys work things out!  I'm gonna leave now... Okay?  Okay" Lauren said leaving.  "Can u bring me with you too? " Gray asked as I glare at him.   "And me too" Ethan said as Roni glares at him.  "Never mind" Both E and Gray said at the same time.  "Ya know u guys should rlly work things out." Gray said.  "Yeah we hate seeing you like this" Ethan said.  "Yeah. Roni pls... Just say at least one word to me.  Pls Roni just talk to me" I said as Roni ignores me.  "Veronica Jo Merrell pls stop ignoring me and talk to me! " I said.  "WELL WHAT DO U WANT ME TO SAY?! " Roni asked standing up with a rlly loud voice.  "IDK ANYTHING! " I said standing up to.  "Okay..okay calm down both of u" Ethan said.  "I'm never gonna forgive you if u don't give me space.  I need time to think okay?! You don't care about me! All u care about is yourself! U KEEP ACTING LIKE U CARE EVEN IF U DON'T! UR SO PLASTIC NESSA. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW PLASTIC YOU ARE. YOU USED TO BE MY BEST FRIEND. NOW PLS LEAVE ME ALONE YOU BITCH.  YOU DONT LOVE ANYONE BESIDES YOURSEF!! UR A SELF CENTERED WUSS WHO THINKS YOURE ALL TOUGH AND EXTRA AND ALL BUT UR NOT!!! U CAN BE SUCH A BITCH SOMETIMES NESSA. I FUCKING TRUSTED YOU AND YOU FUCKING BETRAYED ME. You used to be my best friend and now i dont even know you anymore. " Roni said as my eyes started tearing up.  "Wh-what did you just say to me? " I asked as a tear fell down on my cheek.  "..... Nessa.... -" Before Roni could finish I rushed out and ditched everyone.  I went inside a bathroom stall and started balling my eyes out. 

Why would she say that to me? Why would she call me that..... Even if she and I were in a fight.... I would never call her a bitch.  Is this how much she hates me?  I can't believe one stupid promise is gonna ruin everything we have.  I've spent my whole life with Roni,  we've never had this huge of a fight before.  This has gone out of the line.  Sisters don't call each other bitches.  Best friends never call each other that.  She hates me.... I can't do anything.... But accept that.

Roni 's POV.

I realized what I said to her was rlly rlly mean.  She didn't deserve it.  I was on my way to forgive Nessa but I just needed some space and idk what happened I guess I just....snapped. I didn't mean for it to come out like that.  I didn't mean for her to rush out of the area and cry.  I would never make her cry but I just did.... I never should've said that.  Even if we were in a fight.  She was trying her best to talk to me but all I did was call her self centered and a bitch..... I'm a bad sister.  I rlly am.  I never should've done that. 

"Roni-" Ethan said but before he could finish.  "I- I'm gonna go for a walk.... Just me alone pls.  I'll be okay I promise" I said as I started to tear up too.  "Are u sure? " Ethan asked.  "Yeah" I said.  "Okay" Ethan said as I was walk away from him and Grayson and just went for a walk.  I sat on the sand and just thought about everything.  Out of everyone I could Lose... Why.  Why Nessa.  Why her.  I'm forgiving her but I don't think she's gonna forgive me.  Nessa and I know that when we call someone bitch we hate that person so much.... And I just called her one.... She might think I hate her but I don't.  I love her as a sister and I can't lose her.  Her and Ethan are all I have left.  I can't lose her! I have to go find her....
