Chapter 40: Breaks and Heartaches

Roni's POV.

I was walking back to Nessa and the others until I suddenly slipped.  Someone caught me,  it was Aaron.  I fell in his arms,  staring at his eyes.  "Woah easy there princess" Aaron said. 

There it is.  He used to call me names before and princess was one of them.  This was the first time I heard him say that in 3 years.  It sent shivers all over my body,  all of the things we had together came rushing back to me.

"Oh Aaron hi- me am sorry,  I mean I am sorry" I said stuttering not knowing how to talk.  "Did u forget how to talk or something? " Aaron said still holding me in his arms. "Oh no no no I'm fine" I said.

  I stared at his beautiful eyes,  I see passion,  I see love,  I see the old Aaron. 

"Why do u seem scared? " Aaron asked. "I'm not" I said. "You know u can tell me anything right.... Darling? " Aaron said.

There it is again.  The other nickname.

"I know... Jerk face" I said.  "So are we back with calling each other names again? " Aaron asked.  "Sure why not?" I said.  "Yeah okay" Aaron said with me still in his arms."Okay can u put me up now" I said. "What if I don't want to? " Aaron asked.  "What if I want you to? " I said.  "Do u ever give up? " Aaron asked.  "You know I don't" I said standing up winking at him. He smiled and rolled his eyes. "Hey wanna come with me? " I asked.  "Why? And where? " Aaron asked.  "At the beach side.  The others are there" I said.  "Ohhh yea sure.  But I can't hang ouT with u guys yet cuz I have to be a lifeguard lol, my shift us today.  " Aaron said.  "Okay let's just go together then" I said as Aaron nods as we walk together to the beach side.

Aaron and I talk together for awhile until someone calls him.  "Okay well that's my call.  I'll text you later when I'm done k? " Aaron said.  "K" I said as I walk back to the others.  "Hey Roni what took u so long? " Nessa asked.  "Oh I was hanging out with Aaron for awhile" I said.  "Of course you were" Ethan said annoyed.  "E,  he's my friend" I said.  "Yeah whatever" Ethan said. "Anyways so what do u guys wanna do today? " I asked.  "Ooh I wanna do basketball" Alex said.  "Oh yeah sure we can do that" Grayson said.  "Yeah but we don't know how to play" Nessa said.  "We'll teach you" Marco said.  "Okay sure" I said.  "So what time are we gonna go to the basketball court? " Lauren asked.  "Oh um what time is Aaron gonna finish?  He's pretty good at basketball too you know" Alex said.  "He told me he's gonna end at like 3 something" I said.  "Ohh okay.  Let's go at 3 then" Alex said as we all agree.  "Does he rlly have to come with us? " Ethan asked.  "Ethan he's our friend" I said.  "That's what u keep saying" Ethan said standing up then walking away.  "Ugh" I said covering my face with my hands.  "I'll go after him" Grayson said standing up going after Ethan.  "Hey Roni u okay? " Nessa asked.  "No I'm not okay.  I keep telling Ethan that Aaron is just a friend.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.  Why doesn't he believe me?!  Does he not trust me?  Are we gonna have the same fight over and over again.  We had this fight about 2 times already.  God why can't he just trust me?!" I said.  "Don't worry Roni,  you'll work it out" Lauren said.  "Yes we will but maybe a couple of days or a week from now we're gonna have this fight again.  I don't like to repeat myself,  you guys know that" I said. "Roni do u love Ethan? " Marco asked.  "Of course I do" I said.  "Do u trust him? " Marco asked.  "Yes I do" I said.  "What would u do if u were in his shoes?  " Marco asked.  "I would...get jealous a little bit but I'm gonna confront him.  And if he tells me that they're just friends I would trust him.  A relationship can't work without trust.  Trust is one of the main things to have to make a relationship work. " I said.  "Did u tell him that? " Alex asked.  "Yeah I did" I said.
