Chapter 15: Talks

The next day
Aaron's POV.

I kept thinking about what happened yesterday.  I didn't mean you do that,  yes I wanted to protect Roni but I didn't want to go that far from beating Kian up.  I've had a dark past and I thought all of it was gone but I was wrong... The anger I was feeling lat night made me want to kill him.... I want to tell Roni about my past but it's hard.  Its not as easy as you think it is.  ill tell Roni in the right time just not now... My feelings for Roni are indescribable.  I have mixed feeling right now.  I asked Roni what we were yesterday because I had to know.  I feel something in my stomach that I've never felt in such a long time,  and when she kissed Kian... Made me mad.  When she flirted with him made me even more mad.  I was literally about to beat him up at that exact moment but Alex calmed me down.  I feel something and I know Roni feels it too.  I'm not the only who's feeling these odd stuff.  The last time I felt like this was with my ex... Hell I don't even want to talk about my ex. Anyways back to the topic.. I want to make a move with Roni but.... I don't want to ruin what we have.  Sure call me a coward if u want but it isn't as easy as u think.  Wait  till she knows my history and she'll probably won't even like me anymore. 

I was laying in bed just thinking of stuff.  Until my phone rang,  it was a message from Roni so I quickly looked at it and replied

Roni:  hey there jerk face wanna hang?  I'm bored
Me:  sure when?
Roni:  when  r u available?
Me:    I'm available anytime when it comes to you😉😉
Roni:  okay okay there lover boy.  Well how bout now huh?
Me:  now?! 
Roni: I thought u were available any time
Me:  I am.  K where will we meet up?
Roni: pick me up at my house.  I'll be ready in an hour and 30
Me:  it takes u THAT long to be ready?
Roni:  I'm a perfectionist.  Don't judge me jerk face
Me: okay okay whatever u say darling
Roni:  whatever I'll see u later I gtg get ready now bye
Me:  bye

I quickly got out from bed.  Took a shower,  changed my clothes and went to Roni's house.  About 20 mins later,  I arrive and knock on the door.  Nessa opens it with a warm welcome.

"Hey Aaron! " Nessa says.  "Hey Nessa!" I said as I hug her.  She hugs back then we pulled away.  "Come in" Nessa says as I go in their house.  "Take a seat.  Roni's still in the shower.  She's probably gonna be there for like an hour more" Nessa said.  "An hour more??? " I asked.  "Yeah I know she takes so long.  It's annoying" Nessa says as I laugh.  "So hey I have to talk to u.  About my sister" Nessa said.  "Okay.... " I said.  "Do u like her? " Nessa asked.  "Um... " I said.  "Aaron u can tell me.  Don't  worry I won't tell her" Nessa said.  "I don't know if I do.  Maybe I do maybe I don't idk I haven't felt this way in such a long time.  Idk IDK" I said. "U both are screwed" Nessa whispered.  "What? " I asked.  "Nothing. Well are u planning to make a move on her soon? " Nessa asks.  ".... Idk.  Im scared to ruin what we have" I said.  "WHY ARE YOU FRICKIN SCARED U FRICKIN COWARD.  MAN UP AARON MAN UP!!!  RONI SHE LIKES U.  SHE JUST DOESN'T KNOW IT.  U LIKE HER.  BUT U DON'T KNOW IT EITHER.  U TWO LIKE EACH OTHER OKAY?!  UR JUST TRYING TO DENY U LIKE HER CUZ U GUYS ARE FRIENDS.  WELL IF U MAKE A MOVE ON HER U WILL BE MORE THAN FRIENDS AND IT WILL BE ALL HAPPY AND STUFF. YOU DON'T HAVE TO FRICKIN HIDE IT ALREADY.  IT'S CLEAR U BOTH LIKE EACH OTHER SO FRICKIN MAKE A MOVE ON HER ALREADY" Nessa said with a very loud voice.  "Nessa. CALM DOWN"I said.  " Wow I am so stressed when it comes to you two" Nessa says.  "U?  STRESSED? " I asked then laughed.  "WE'RE THE ONE WHO'S SUPPOSE TO BE STRESSED HERE NOT YOU!  WE'RE THE ONES TRYING TO FIGURE OUT OUR FEELINGS! " I said.  "Okay now u calm down" Nessa said.  "I'm CALM now! " I said.  "Relax Aaron" Nessa says.  "Okay I'm good"  I said.  "Okay here's the real talk.  I'll be as sincere as I can.  So um here's my advice-" Before she could finish I cur her off.  "What are you,  a love expert?" I asked.  "Let me finish" Nessa says as I laugh.  "Okay I'm listening" I said.  "I know u don't want to ruin your friendship with Roni but come on think about it.  Think about being with her,  being more than just friends.  Yes u both were enemies at first,  and u recently just became friends but who cares? " Before she could finish I cut her off again.  "I care" I said.  "Let me frickin finish Aaron" Nessa says.  "Okay" I said.  "Well. I know u two think u don't have anything in common but u do!  U both are competitive,  u both are nerds... " Before she could finish I cut her off again.  "Is that suppose to be a compliment? " I asked.  "I swear to God if u don't shut up I'm gonna frickin tape ur mouth" Nessa says.  "So brutal jeez Nessa" I said as Nessa clears her throat.  "As I was saying don't be scared Aaron.  I know ur scared rn but in the end it will be worth it I promise" Nessa says.  "Okay is that all u have to say? " I asked.  "Ur such an ass.  Anyways go to Roni's room now and check if she's done" Nessa says.  "Okay" I said standing up. "Thanks for the sucking advice" I said.  "HEY THAT WAS GOOD ADVICE! " Nessa says as i laugh and go to Roni's  room and knock.  No one answered so I went in. 

"Roni? Where are u? " I asked.  "In the shower!  I'm almost done I promise" Roni said.  "How long are u gonna take? " I asked.  "5 mins" Roni said.  "Okay" I said as I just sat down on her bed.

  I hear her angelic voice singing in the shower.  I haven't really heard Roni sing before this is the first time I heard her sing and it's incredible.  I didn't know she had such a nice voice.  I always knew Roni was talented but I didn't know she could sing this well.  Wow I'm impressed. I was waiting for Roni to come out of the bathroom and 10 mins later she was finally ready.  "U said 5 mins.  U took 10 mins" I said.  "Well I'm sorry it's not my fault I'm a " Before she could finish I cut her off.  "Perfectionist?  Yea u told me" I said as Roni giggles.  "So where are we going? " I asked.  "Arcade" Roni says as we say goodbye to Nessa.  Hopped in my car and drove to the arcade

"Let's play the basketball one" I said.  "No I can't shoot" Roni said as I laugh.  "Really? " I asked laughing.  "Yes" Roni said.  "Here watch" I said as I played basketball and Roni's mouth dropped.  U made each and every shot in that game" Roni said.  "Yeah. I've been playing basketball since I was 8 Roni it's my favorite sport.  Why don't u try? " I asked as Roni starts playing.  She tried to shoot but the ball was short.  I laughed and said "the basketball in the arcade is so small yet u still can't do it" I said laughing.  "Well sorry I'm not athletic like u Aaron" Roni said.  "Ooh someone's salty.  Here let me teach you" I said as I hold her hand which is holding the ball.  "Aim for the ring.  U don't have to give out all energy u have.  It's pretty easy.  See so bend ur legs,  aim,  and shoot" I said as she does what I tell her to do and she shoots it.  "Yay!!!" Roni said facing me smiling.  Our bodies we're inches away from each other,  I looked at her eyes as she looked at mine. There was a spark between us.  When I stared at her  I knew from that moment on that I do like her and Nessa was right... I was denying it this whole time. I decided to go for it and kiss her.  I leaned in and so did she.... Our lips we're an inch away,  until my phone vibrated.  I looked at Roni again but then we lost our gaze.  She looked away and cleared her throat.  I answered the call from Alex.

"Hey man where are u? " Alex asked.  "With Roni" I said.  "Oh ok nvm" Alex said.  "What?!  Dude!  U ruined- " Before I could finish Alex hang up on me.  Are u kidding me?!  I was literally going to kiss Roni already.  Ughhh gosh dang it

"Um ... We should probably go play other games" Roni said.  "Yeah I agree" I said as we play other games.  Today was rlly fun.   A bit awkward but it's fine.  Gosh I wish Alex didn't have to ruin the moment I was making a move right there.  Ughhh.  Well everything happens for a reason right?  Maybe it wasn't the right time.  But it got me thinking... When is the right time?
