Chapter 17

I was still pretty tired from last night being as we didn't get home til early in the morning plus I had to sing Allie to sleep and read Ray a story which meant I didn't really get to sleep until about 4:30am

I got up anyway and grabbed my crutches before going downstairs and into the lounge, I switched the channel on to Disney because I was in one of those types of moods. I watched the TV and eventually whilst watching it drifted back to sleep.

I was woken by something hitting my face, I opened my eyes to see everyone in the lounge and Bea standing in front of me with a cushion in her hands. I scrunched up my face before groaning "what do you want?" I asked annoyed that I'd been woken up "get up and get ready we're all going shopping" she said WAY to excited. "I'm good i'ma just lay here and sleep" I said closing my eyes only to be hit with the pillow again i opened my eyes "eh no you're not we're all going it's bonding time" my mom said the pillow in her hand this time.

I groaned before getting a couch cushion and putting it on my face "you can all go bond with out me it's fine" I said really trying to get out if it "Leah stop trying to get out of this, you are coming whether you like it it not" I rolled my eyes and groaned one last time before grabbing my crutches, standing up and going slowly up the stairs to my room.

I put on my waterproof cast cover thing and got in the shower, before getting out and going into the closet. I chose my outfit and got changed as quickly as I could with a cast on my leg. Once I'd finished my hair and makeup I went back downstairs and had a pop tart.

I ate it before brushing my teeth and meeting everyone back in the lounge "if we're going then can we go?" I asked impatiently causing everyone to look at me. My mom started to walk up to me, she put her right arm on my left and gently stroked the upper half "Hun I know you're tired but it's not everyday you get to go shopping with us all together, with everyone's schedules this is hardly ever going to happen" "yeah I know I know" she smiled and we all went to our car.

After arriving my mood had drastically changed and I was definitely up for some shopping, I mean come on when am I never? We got out the car and started to walk to the entrance, paparazzi taking photos and shouting mean things, we got to the door and were about to go in when one of them shouted "hey Leah why don't you lose a few pounds! Oh wait! are you gonna go cut like your mom now?!" before laughing.

I clenched my fists and turned around, I walked right up to the crowd and stood in front if them "who said that?" I asked calmly to make them think I wasn't going to do anything "Me" one said before laughing I smiled before speaking again "can you come here please?" He did so, suddenly looking quite scared. I turned to look behind me and saw that everyone was watching.

"Can you answer me a question?" he nodded hesitantly "what is wrong with you?" I asked as calm as possible "huh?" "1) you should say pardon, much more polite and 2) I asked you what is wrong with you? I mean do you need help or something? because if you do my amazing mother that you just offended has a charity that can help pay for that if you need it. Speaking if my mother don't you EVER bring her past into this and don't compare me to it either, my mom has gotten through that now and I will not let you ruin everything she has worked so hard for, you are a low life and you need to grow up and see that you are a bully, all you do is follow people around all day taking photos and verbally abusing them. I will not let you continue to do this to any of my family or my friends and this goes for all of you. Oh and I'm not fat! I don't need to lose a few pounds because I am a perfectly healthy young girl, yes I may have a broken leg which makes me vulnerable but that does NOT mean that I am your target and I NEVER will be and neither will my family, now you better stay the hell away from me, my family and my friends and don't you EVER EVER even think about trying to hurt my mom again. Thank you, enjoy your day now goodbye" I spoke calm but still pressing my words, before calmly walking back to everyone, who all stood there with shocked faces except my mom.

She stood there with the biggest smile on her face and tears rolling down her cheeks, I went up to her and wiped them away with the ball of my thumb and took her hand pulling her with me and we all walked inside.
