Namjoon

I was a smart kid. My parents wanted me to become a business man or a lawyer of something else equally as boring. (Sorry if u have any of those jobs I don't mean it 😁)

I went to a good school and I got good grades. I was the smartest in my class and I was class prefect. I had plenty of friends but none of them understood me like my bros do. They're like family, the rest of BTS.

I always new I wanted to be a rapper. It was my dream to be an idol and perform on stage for all my fans all over the world. My parents thought it was a bit of a waste of my knowledge, becoming a star, but they knew it was my dream and they accepted it. I know I'm lucky, Yoongi hyung's parents don't accept him as an idol yet. But I hope someday they will because he really is amazing.

BigHit Entertainment asked me whether I wanted to leave BTS and become a solo rapper, or stay and be part of a group. Even though it was my dream to become a soloist, I feel in love with the bandmates and stayed loyal to them. I couldn't imagine abandoning them to just live out my dream. Possibly shattering theirs.

Being an idol isn't just about singing/rapping. It's about dancing and your looks too. I'm one of the worst dancers in the group along with Jin and people have said I'm the worst looking too. It's not fair. Hoseok hyung also has 'fans' calling him ugly too and I don't get it. He's really handsome, more so than me, and it just sucks to see someone get hurt like that, even when your hurting too.

My self esteem is already low, and I already feel worthless, I don't need people who call themselves 'fans' to put me down and tell me that. I love you ARMY, the real ARMY who stan us whatever, not just because of what we look like but for our music. And not just me, but all 7 members because we are all equal are all special and unique.

I'm proud to be the leader of such an amazing group of guys, who cheer me up when I'm down. And although they are a bunch of idiots, they are awesome.

A/N Kim Namjoon is such an amazing leader and he truly cares for them so much.

Once an 'fan' came up to Namjoon told him that he is least attractive, least talented member of the group. I think that is so disrespectful and I can't believe they did that and that they can call themselves a fan. What's worse is that Namjoon replied to that comment with 'I know'. That makes me so sad to think that he thinks he is the worst member of the group and that he isn't wanted. No member is worse than the other, they are all handsome and talented.
