Bogum's party wasn't that exciting and Taehyung felt slightly out of place here but he forces himself to relax.

He decides to just do a couple of rounds around the house before leaving so he can at least say he was here.

   "Hey Taehyung!"

Taehyung turns to see Jungkook jogging up to him.

   "I didn't think you were coming." Jungkook says smiling as he stops in front of the boy.

   "I told you I would." Taehyung shrugs.

   "Right." Jungkook laughs offering Taehyung his drink.

Taehyung takes it and downs the bitter content. He still didn't understand why his father loved this shit so much.

   "You haven't happen to see Hoseok have you?" Taehyung asks.

   "Yeah he's here. So is everyone else." Jungkook says. "I can show you."

   "No. I'm actually trying to avoid them." Taehyung says.

   "Yeah? Well let's go this way then." Jungkook puts his arm around Taehyung and leads him outside.

Jungkook picks up two more cups on the way and hands one to Taehyung.

   "You're not gonna stay mad at them forever are you?" Jungkook asks as the both sit down on the steps of the backyard, not many people lingered there.

   "I hope not." Taehyung says downing his drink.

   "I know I don't know you that well. And I don't really know your friends." Jungkook starts. "But they seem to genuinely care for you. And they were all really freaking out when they found out you were in jail."

   "Yeah. I'm sure they were." Taehyung says looking down at his empty cup. "But they don't even try to understand me."

   "I think they try. But sometimes it's extremely hard to see things from someone else's point of view." Jungkook says.

Taehyung nods listening to what Jungkook has to say.

   "And for Jin, I guess, he just doesn't want you to get in trouble so he doesn't understand why you continue to do things to get you in trouble." Jungkook says.

Taehyung's head snaps up all of a sudden and he looks Jungkook in the eye. "He put you up to this didn't he?"

   "Was I that obvious?" Jungkook asks frowning at his failed attempt to relay the message without Taehyung's knowledge.

   "Yeah. You sound just like Jin." Taehyung says.

   "I do agree with him though." Jungkook says.

   "Of course you do." Taehyung sighs.

   "But that's only because I haven't tried seeing through your eyes." Jungkook says leaning back on the step behind him. "Why do you do things to get you in trouble?"

   "I don't try to get in trouble on purpose." Taehyung sighs running his fingers through his hair.

   "I can't really explain but. I just don't want to be home. So I go somewhere else. Anywhere else. And sometimes those places aren't the best places." Taehyung says. "And sometimes those people aren't the best people. But they still take care of me better than I would be taken care of if I went home at night."

Jungkook frowns a little at the thought of something being so wrong with Taehyung's home life that he doesn't want to be there.

   "It's stupid. I know. I'm sorry." Taehyung says shaking his head.
