"This is crazy." Jungkook says to himself as he skips down his steps.

Taehyung stands in the front yard fiddling with his sleeves.

"Tae." Jungkook says walking up to him.

Taehyung continues to fiddle with his sleeves. "It's alright if you say no. But. I'm going to go even if you don't come."

"Where are you going?" Jungkook asks.

Taehyung looks up at him with a smile. "Where ever I want."

"That's insane, Taehyung. What about school?" Jungkook asks still keeping his voice low.

"Whatever happens happens." Taehyung shrugs. "And I want you to come with me."

Jungkook stares at him trying to figure out what to say.

"You don't have to answer now. I'm leaving on Friday." Taehyung says.

"Why?" Jungkook asks in confusion.

"Because. This town. It's not good for me to be here anymore." Taehyung says. "Nothing good ever came from this place. Not for me. The only good thing that's come from it is you. And my friends but, I want to take you with me."

Jungkook sighs. He couldn't leave Daegu. Not when he had school in a few weeks.

"I know that you. You said we couldn't be together. But we can. We can leave and your mother would never find us if we went far enough away." Taehyung says taking Jungkook's hands. "And if you come. You can do whatever you want. You can be whatever you want."

Jungkook sighs squeezing Taehyung's hands slightly. "I don't know, Tae."

Taehyung's hopefully smile drops and he looks down at their hands.

"I want to. I really do." Jungkook says. "But I just can't risk anything happening to you."

"No matter what happens to me Jungkook. There's nothing worse than losing you." Taehyung says looking into Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook's stomach does that thing it usually does when Taehyung looks him deeply in the eyes like he's doing now.

"I don't want to pressure you into going." Taehyung says letting his hands go. "I just want you to think about it. And I wanted to see you before you left for Busan tomorrow."

Jungkook's expression changes to confusion. "How'd~"

"Hobi came to see me earlier. He told me you were leaving." Taehyung says smiling shyly. "That's why I came."

Jungkook's expression softens. "You walked all the way over here? Why didn't you call me?"

"I don't know what happened to my phone." Taehyung says shrugging. "Plus, I didn't want to say goodbye over the phone. And I was kinda hoping it wouldn't be goodbye."

Jungkook looks down at his hands.

"If something happened to you Taehyung I wouldn't forgive myself." Jungkook says trying to justify his reason for going to Busan and not running away with the only person he loves in this world.

"Nothing's going to happen to me." Taehyung says.

"This." Jungkook says taking Taehyung's wrist. "This is only scratching the surface of things she could do to you. Because she knows hurting you is the only way to hurt me. And you even being here right now is making me worry because I know she would come after you if she knew you were here."
