Taehyung stands outside in front of the school waiting for Jakyung to come when Jungkook sees him and approaches him.

    "Hey Tae." He says smiling at the boy.

Taehyung looks up from his phone. "Oh. Hey Jungkook."

    "I missed you this morning. You didn't come sit with me." Jungkook says.

    "Yeah. I got here late so. I didn't have time to do much but go to class." Taehyung says.

    "Are you mad at me?" Jungkook asks after a beat of silence.

    "No. Of course not. Why would I be?" Taehyung asks.

    "I don't know." Jungkook shrugs. "You didn't text me back last night and you avoided me this morning."

Taehyung shakes his head. "I wasn't avoiding you. And I forgot to text you back. But it's not because I'm upset. You didn't do anything to upset me."

    "Then what is it?" Jungkook asks.

    "What do you mean?" Taehyung asks.

    "You seem upset." Jungkook says smiling softly.

Taehyung looks away before responding.

Jungkook knows Taehyung can't look someone in the eye when he lies.

    "I'm fine. Really. I'm just stressed about summer school and everything so. It's not you, as stupid as that sounds." Taehyung says chuckling softly.

    "Alright. Well you know I'm here for you. And you can tell me anything." Jungkook says.

Taehyung forces a small smile. "Thanks Jungkook."

    "Give me a hug." Jungkook says holding his arms out to Taehyung.

Taehyung smiles for real this time as he hugs Jungkook.

    "I'll see you tomorrow. And I'll take you home after school." Jungkook says pulling away from the hug.

    "Thank you Jungkook. I'll text you." Taehyung says as Jakyung's car pulls up.

    "Promise." Jungkook calls as they go separate ways.

    "I promise." Taehyung calls back getting into the car.

Taehyung watches Jungkook walk off until he is out of view and Jakyung is pulling out of the parking lot.

    "How was school?" Jakyung asks.

    "It was school." Taehyung sighs leaning his head against the window.

Taehyung's eyes fall shut and he tries not to think about anything the entire way to the apartment.

Hoseok lays next to Taehyung on his bed stroking the boys hair gently as he cries.

It feels like it's been forever since Hoseok's had to comfort the boy this way.

    "It's okay Tae." Hoseok hums softly.

Taehyung nods still sniffling and trying to dry his never ending tears.

Hoseok's mom stands silently in the doorway with a look of concern.

Hoseok shakes his head slightly as if to say nothing was wrong when something obviously was.

His mother leaves them be shutting the door softly behind herself.

    "I'm sorry Hobi." Taehyung says in between sniffles.
