Taehyung goes back to the main house before Jungkook returns in search of Mrs. Jeon.

Taehyung's heart hurts but he forces himself not to feel. Which he was good at doing. Not feeling.

Even though he felt like crying he made himself feel numb.

When he walks through the front door he goes into the kitchen and finds her sitting at the table reading over something.

"Taehyung?" She says when she sees him. "Do you need something?"

"I'll leave Jungkook." Taehyung says straightforwardly.

Mrs. Jeon sits her pen down and clasps her hands.

"Under one condition." Taehyung says.

Mrs. Jeon nods listening closely.

"I want a train ticket back to Daegu by tomorrow morning." Taehyung says.

"Okay." Mrs. Jeon nods. "Is that all?"

"Yes." Taehyung says. "But I also have a question."

Mrs. Jeon nods still listening respectfully.

"You've raised Jungkook to be exactly who you wanted him to be. Everything he does in his life is for you. All he does is to please you. Or to make you happy. Why would you take away the one thing that makes him happy? Why would you make him feel like he couldn't be himself?" Taehyung asks.

"I already told you Taehyung. It's not about him. It's about everyone. And everything. We've worked so hard to get where we are in this business. And we must carry on to the next generation." Mrs. Jeon says.

"He's your son. Shouldn't it be about him?" Taehyung asks.

"Everything I do is for him. Even though it may not seem like it." Mrs. Jeon says with a lethal expression.

"He'll never truly be happy. No matter how successful he is." Taehyung says in a cold tone.

"Well maybe his children will be happy." Mrs. Jeon says with a small smile.

Taehyung frowns. "I want to leave before noon."

"That can be arranged." Mrs. Jeon nods.

"Goodnight." Taehyung says half-heartedly before turning on his heals and rushing out of the house.

He knew he couldn't just leave Jungkook without an explanation. So he would have to mess everything up himself.

Taehyung swallows hard as he enters the guest house.

He quickly goes to change his clothes before Jungkook returns.

When Taehyung leaves the bathroom and goes back into the room Jungkook sits on the bed scrolling through his phone.

He doesn't notice Taehyung right away so Taehyung takes the moment to take in how handsome he was.

When he does look up from his phone his hard expression softens as he smiles.

"Hey." He says locking his phone.

"Hey." Taehyung says forcing a small smile as he puts his clothes away.

"My family seemed to like you." Jungkook says moving over for Taehyung to sit next to him.

"I hardly spoke to them." Taehyung says sitting next to him and crossing his legs out in front of him. "I'm just so awkward with new people."
