Jungkook could smell the marijuana before he even got to the room Taeil directed him to.

Inside the place wasn't as bad as he had expected it to be on this side of town and there weren't that many people there at all, which made it easier to spot Taehyung laying down on one of the dirty looking couches.

Jungkook also sees a group of other people who look just as dazed as Taehyung does and guesses that must be Taeil's friends.

Jungkook approaches them a bit hesitantly. "Taehyung."

"You just missed him." Taehyung says still staring blankly at the coffee table which is directly in his line of vision as he lays.

"Taehyung." Jungkook says again tapping the boy.

Taehyung looks at him with bloodshot eyes. "Oh. Jungkook. Didn't know you hung around here."

"I don't. I came to get you." Jungkook says.

"Why?" Taehyung asks closing his eyes.

"Because. You shouldn't be here." Jungkook says pulling Taehyung up by the arm.

"Hey. Chill." Taehyung complains sitting up.

"Come on Tae. Let's go." Jungkook says.

"I don't want to go." Taehyung says falling back and leaving Jungkook to pull his weight up.

"Hey. Leave that man alone." One of the guys says.

"Hey. Shut up." Jungkook says back before pulling Taehyung with all his strength.

"Mess around you're going to pull my arm out the socket." Taehyung says laughing at himself.

"What are you on?" Jungkook asks.

He's seen the way people act when they smoked marijuana before and Taehyung was acting different.

"I don't even know honestly." Taehyung says leaning forward.

"Hey." Jungkook says turning to the guy who spoke before. "What did you give him?"

"It's from Spain. Want some?" The guy asks with a laugh.

"I'm not fucking kidding you asshole." Jungkook says through clenched teeth.

"Are we mad?" The guy says sitting up. "I didn't force feed him."

"Pills?" Jungkook asks.

"I mean yeah. Weed only goes so far doesn't it?" He says.

"Damnit." Jungkook says under his breath as he turns back to Taehyung who has found himself back in a laying position.

"Come on Taehyung. We gotta go." Jungkook says pulling the boy up.

"I'm tired." Taehyung says as Jungkook pulls him to his feet.

"I'll take you to mine. You can go to sleep there." Jungkook says.

"You can just stay here. He'll come down a little in a few hours." A different person says.

"Thanks but I think we'll go." Jungkook says bitterly.

Taehyung leans against Jungkook unconsciously as they walk.

"Jesus Tae." Jungkook says.

"Never heard of him." Taehyung says chuckling.

Jungkook rolls his eyes and continues to carry Taehyung up the stairs that seemed to have multiplied.
