elevens pov:
"no! nothing about this is okay!" mike screamed at me. i never thought he would yell at me like that.
"just because i hugged another boy does not mean i want to date him!" i screamed back. i don't understand why he's so mad that i hugged my boy bestfriend. i don't like him like that!
"el, what did i teach you the first day i met you? i told you that friends don't lie. and that's exactly what you are doing!" mike screamed back, tears streaming down both of ours faces while i sat inside of my blanket fort, head in hands.
"i'm. not. lying." i said back, trying to be calm so i wouldn't lash out and use my powers and accidentally hurt him. "chandler is my boy best friend"
"well how do i know you arent starting to grow feelings for him?" mike said, calming down a little more with my words.
"because if i loved him i wouldn't do this," i said, standing up, walking over to mike and kissing him on the lips.
"okay. i'm sorry el. i should've never gotten mad at you." mike said, hanging his head in shame. this was our first ever real fight.
"you owe me eggos" i said, smiling.
