Carl's POV
Dad. He was alive. And I know how to get to him. I couldn't believe it because it felt too good to be true. And maybe it was.
"Rick Grimes?" I asked Tommy. "You're sure that's his name?"
"Yeah." Tommy tells me.
"I can't believe it." I said smiling. "He's alive."
"I told you." Blake said to me.
"I'm gonna finally see my dad again." I said.
"First, we have to head back and get Carol and Judith." Blake told me. "Then you get to reunite with your dad."

Blake's POV
Carl, Tommy and I spent the day walking to the cabin. Every time I looked at Carl I could see the excitement on his face. And I was a little excited too. Carl told me so much about his dad that it's gonna be interesting to finally meet him. And it's good that things are finally going our way.
Or so I thought. Once we walked into the cabin it was completely destroyed. The furniture was knocked over on its side. Glass from the windows and dishes were all over the floor. And worst of all, blood stains on everything. The floor, the walls, the glass, the furniture, all of it had blood stains on them.
"Judith." Carl says before running to her room.
"What happened here?" Tommy asked.
"I have no idea." I said looking around for clues to what happened. "Must have been people."
"It was." A voice said.
Tommy and I both turn around to see Carol covered in blood holding Judith in her arms. Carl comes out from Judith's room and Carol gives her to Carl before she flips the couch right side up and sits down on it.
"What happened?" I asked Carol.
"People." She tells us. "About 20 of them."
"Are you hurt? Did they do anything to you?" I asked feeling concerned.
"They tried." Carol said. "Lucky I was taking Judith for a walk when they came in. I managed to take care of most of them and scared off the ones that lived. If people know we're here then it's not safe anymore."
"Luckily we don't need to be here anymore." Tommy said.
"And who the hell are you?" Carol asked him.
"I'm Tommy." Tommy introduced himself.
