Tommy's POV

It's been a week since Blake and Carl left.  Rachel has been completely different since she found out.  I was expecting her to be in a pit of depression or filled with rage.  But instead she just acts as if she doesn't care about anything.  It's almost like she lost all her emotions.  And I kinda felt bad for her.

I'm in class, not really paying attention, as usual.  I look over and see Jessica glaring at me.  I roll my eyes and wait for class to end.  When it did I got up and left and walked to my usual spot along the wall.  I was planning to go over the wall again, but before I could grab the ladder, Jessica came up to me.

"What do you want?"  I asked bitterly.

"I...I want to apologize."  She told me.

"What?"  I asked taken by surprise.

"I'm sorry."  She said looking down at the ground.  "You were right.  Everything you said about me.  It was true.  Everyone hates me."

I look at her and I notice that she's crying.  Which is weird because I don't think anyone has ever seen her cry.  I also wasn't sure if I should comfort her or just walk away.  But I decide to wrap my arms around her and give her a hug.

"You're not that bad."  I tell her.

"Yes I am."  She cried into my chest.

"You're not..."

I let out a gasp.  I feel a piercing pain in my chest.  I look down and see Jessica holding a knife that's in my body.  She pulls it out and I collapse to the ground feeling the blood leaving my body.

"Yes.  I am."  She tells me with an evil smile.

I look up at the sky.  I want to move, and I try to, but I can't.  I slowly start to close my eyes.  But before I do, I see a figure with long dark hair standing over me.  Then everything goes black.

I wake up in a bed.  I look around and see Dr. Walsh standing over me.  He smiles at me and hands me a glass of water.

"I'm glad you're up."  He tells me.  "You got lucky.  The knife didn't puncture any important arteries.  But you did lose a lot of blood.  If she didn't bring you in when she did, you might have bleed to death."

"She?"  I asked.

"A young woman found you and brought me to you."  Dr. Walsh tells me.  "She saved your life.  She's waiting right outside if you want me to go get her."

I nod.  He leaves and then he comes back with a girl who looks familiar.

"I'll be right back."  Dr. Walsh tells us before he leaves.

"H-hi."  The girl said with a soft voice.
