Blake's POV

I woke up to my back being sore, which wasn't surprising since I just slept on the floor in the infirmary. Rick, Michonne and I haven't left since Zelda told us it was ok to be in here. Mom also spent a lot of time in here, the only time she wasn't was when she was visiting Ella's grave. I got up off the ground and noticed that Rick and Michonne have fallen asleep and she had her head resting on his shoulder. They looked cute together.

"Morning." I heard a whisper.

I looked over and saw that Carl had his eye open. I immediately had a smile on my face and felt happy tears form in my eyes.

"Y-you're awake?" I said hoping this wasn't a dream.

"Yeah." He said.

I looked over at Rick and Michonne about to wake them up, but before I could.

"Don't." Carl told me. "Let them sleep."

"I-I can't believe this." I said going over to the side of his bed. "How do you feel?"

"My head hurts a little bit." He told me. "But I think I'll be fine."

"I should go get Zelda." I tell him. "She'll want to check on you."

He nods as I leave to go find Zelda. When I was outside I found Zelda sitting and talking with Joey, Katie, Ted and Mark.

"Zelda, can you come with me?" I asked her.

She nods before getting up and walking over to me.

"What's up?" She asked.

"Carl's awake." I tell her.

"That's great." She said smiling. "Do you want me to go check on him?"

"If you could, that'd be great." I tell her.

The two of us head back to the infirmary. When we get in there Rick and Michonne are awake and hugging Carl.

"How you feeling Carl?" Zelda asked.

"My head hurts a little bit and I can't see out my right eye." He said.

"What's the last thing you remember happening?" She asked him.

"Um..." Carl thought. "I remember we found your friend dead and we went into the house to go after Blake's dad, and that's about it."

"Well you got shot in the eye." Zelda told him. "The bullet seemed to have nicked the bone and came down right above your cheekbone. Honestly, I'm surprised you managed to survive."

"So, my eye, it's..."

"Yes." Zelda tells him. "And you'll have to do a lot of physical therapy, but the important thing is that you're alive."

"Is he able to get up and walk?" Rick asked.

"I think that'll be ok." Zelda answered. "But it might be hard for him at first so he'll have to go slow."

"Do you think he'll be able to make it to a car?" Michonne asked. "Because we want to head back to Cliff House and let everyone there know that we're ok."

"Maybe." She said. "But if you really want to head back to Cliff House then you could carry him, or at the very least have him lean on you for support."

"Do you want to try, Carl?" Rick asked his son.

Carl nods as he throws his leg over the bed and slowly starts to stand up before quickly sitting back on the bed again and clenching his head.

"Are you ok?" I asked him.

"My head." He said still grabbing his head. "When I stood up my head just started pounding."

"I have an idea." Zelda said before she left the room. She came back about a minute later pushing a wheelchair. "He can use this until he feels comfortable walking again."

Zelda brought the wheelchair next to the bed as Carl slides off and gets in the wheelchair.

"How's that?" I asked.

"Good." He said.

I take the handles of the wheelchair and start to push Carl as we all go outside. When we get outside I see mom is kneeling in front of Ella's grave. But she stands up and walks over to us when she sees Carl.

"You're ok?!" Mom said happily.

"Kinda." Carl told her. "My head hurts whenever I try to walk so I'm stuck in a wheelchair for now."

"Well, I'm glad you're ok." Mom told him.

"Where's Tommy?" Rick asked. "I asked him to pack up some cars for us to take to Cliff House."

"I saw him walk by with a few bags a while ago." Mom told him. "Are we leaving?"

"Yeah." Rick said. "It's better to get back to Cliff House before they send people to come look for us."

"We're going to Cliff House?" Joey asked walking over to us. "And you have people there?"

"Yeah." Michonne said. "Why, is that a problem?"

"Well...before you guys came here Winston gathered a group of people." Joey said. "He told them to go to Cliff House and kill anyone and everyone you see, except for Blake."

All of us had the same look of horror on our face. Knowing that everyone at Cliff House might be...dead.

"What?!" Rick started to raise his voice. "Why didn't you tell us this before?!"

"I-I didn't realize there were still people here." Joey told us starting to panic.

"Hey." Tommy said running over. "What's with all the yelling?"

"Are the cars ready to go?" Rick asked him.

"Yeah." Tommy said.

"Good." Rick said. "Everyone get in the cars, we're leaving NOW!"

We all went over to the cars that Tommy had packed and started to get in them. Tommy was driving one car with Zelda, Joey, Katie, Ted and Mark. While Rick was driving another one with Michonne, mom, Carl and myself. I made sure to fold up the wheelchair and put it in the trunk for Carl. When we were all in and ready go we started driving back to Cliff House...or whatever was left of it.

===============================================================================

I couldn't tell how long we've been driving for, mainly because of how much I was thinking about everyone at Cliff House and worrying if they're ok. I stopped when I noticed that the car started to slow down.

"What's going on?" Mom asked Rick.

"Someone's in the middle of the road." Rick told us.

Rick stops the car completely and we all look out the windshield to see the person. All I could see was that it was a woman covered in blood.

"Amy?!" We hear Tommy yell as he gets out of the car and runs over to hug her.

The rest of us get out of the car and go over to her and sure enough, it was Amy. But she was also covered in blood and looked more scared than ever before.

"Are you ok?" Tommy asked her. "What happened?"

"P-P-People...k-k-killing..." She said shaking.

"Amy, what happened?" Rick asked sternly.

"I-I-It was horrible." She told us. "It was a massacre."
