Keith's POV
The car ride was awkward, which wasn't really a surprise. Neither of us had said anything to one another since we got back in the car. But she hugged me and thanked me, plus she wasn't aiming her gun at me anymore which was a good sign.
"Zelda?" I asked which caused her to look at me. "Um...are we good?"
"What?" She asked me.
"Like...do you still hate me?" I asked. "Or do you forgive me? Or..."
"I'm not gonna say we're good." She told me. "Let's just say, if I do kill you, it'll be an accident."
"Well that's definitely better than you planning my death." I said with a chuckle.
I looked over at her and I could see a hint of smile, even though she tried to hide it. I looked back at the road as she stops the car when we notice a tree that fallen in front of the road. We both get out of the car and go over to it.
"I could try to move it." I suggested as I walk over to the fallen tree.
"Come over here." Zelda told me.
"What is it?" I asked walking over to her looking at the tree.
"This tree wasn't knocked down." She informed me. "It was cut."
"If it was cut, then wouldn't that mean..."
"This is a trap." She said.
We both start running back to the car. But before we get there.
BOOM!!!
Zelda's POV
The car's explosion sent us blasting back. I get up and see flames and smoke where the car used to be.
"Are you ok?" Keith asked me.
"I'm fine." I tell him. "How did that happen?"
Before he could answer we see a figure appear from the smoke and the flames. And that's when we see Anna.
"Father is so disappointed in you, Kiki." Anna told Keith while aiming her gun at him. "He sent me here to finish you off."
"Then what are you waiting for?" He asked her. "Just do it."
She let out a laugh before she dropped her gun on the ground.
"Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this." She said before she charged at Keith.
I watched as she flipped in the air and tackled her brother to the ground. Somehow Keith managed to kick her off of him. They both get on their feet as Anna was throwing punches and kicks at her brother. But every attack she threw, he dodged. Their movements were so quick and a precise, almost like ninja's or like some sort form of kung fu...and I was kinda impressed.
I snapped out of my thoughts and grabbed my gun, but before I could shoot I watched as Keith did a spinning roundhouse kick right to Anna's face knocking her to the ground. I holstered my gun and ran over to her and saw that she was unconscious with blood dripping out the side of her mouth.
"What do we do with her?" I asked Keith.
"You're asking me?" Keith asked sounding surprised.
"She's your sister and you know her better than I do." I tell him. "Do we take her back with us and hold her hostage? Or do we kill her?"
He looks at me before glancing over at her unconscious sister and then back at me.
"I want to take her with us." He tells me. "But I know she can't change, no matter how much I want her to. We have to kill her."
