Torn...

Chapter 7

...It was Murr.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Murr shouted at me.
"Look... I came round yesterday.." I began.
"YESTERDAY?" Murr shouted.
"Look, she was mad at me and I wanted to see if she was okay. Then we just fell asleep" I told him, truthfully. "Be quiet as her sister is here!" I warned him.
"How dare you break the pact!" Murr shouted.
"Well I'm guessing those roses aren't for you Murr!" I said, pointing the roses he was attempting to hide.

Emilys POV

I heard Sal talking to someone at the door, so I quickly went to see who it was. It was Murr.
"Hey Murr" I said to him, standing by Sal. "I'm sorry for being horrible yesterday, it was just a... bad day" I apologised.
"It's my fault- anyway I bought you some roses" Murr said.
"They're beautiful" I said, giving him a hug. Sal grabbed his coat.
"I best be off, see you later" Sal said.
"Actually, I'll come with" Murr said to Sal.
"Bye guys!" I said to them as they walked away.

After they left, I placed the roses in a vase.
"They from Sal?" Gemma asked.
"Nope, Murr" I replied, smiling at them. Gemma took a seat in a stool.
"Whose Murr?" She asked.
"Sal's best friend" I replied.
"So you go out with Sal's best friend, but fancy Sal?" She asked.
"Not quite" I replied as I sat down.
"What do you mean?" Gemma asked.
"I fancied Sal... but now I like Murr too" I said.
"You fancy them both?" Gemma asked.
"Kinda. It's just Sal is adorable, and so sweet. But Murr is really fun and kind to me" I said.
"I'm.. torn" I said.
"Then don't date either" she told me. It was a fair point. And I didn't even know if they fancied me. For now, I'll let it slide. However, I'm more drawn to Sal.... I was so confused.

Meanwhile, Sal and Murr were walking through town.
"Do you like Emily?" Murr asked Sal.
"What do you mean?" Sal asked.
"Like.. fancy her?" Murr asked.
"Uhh.. not really" Sal lied.
"Phew. I thought you did. I'm gonna ask her out" Murr said.
"What if she doesn't feel the same?" Sal said.
"Well we'll find out" Murr said, following Sal into the jewellery shop.

Sal's POV
Murr followed me into the jewellery shop. I really did fancy Emily and now I have to see Murr with her instead....
