Chapter 20

I looked at Sa with an anxious look as i saw a rush of panic flood him inside.
"What is it?" Sal asked.
"Well Emily seems to have not recovered fully because" the doctor began.
"Active swelling on the brain cased by comas from car accidents, brain damages" Sal interrupted. The doctor turned to Sal and nodded.
I looked at Sal with an amazed yet confused face because of how he knew that.
"How?" I asked Sal with a smile.
"Leaflets" he answered causing us both to laugh.
"Obviously Emily, you will be fine, but we recommend you taking things easy. We expect to see you coming back for 11months for check ups!" The doctor said.

One Year Later
I woke up with Sals arm draped over me. We are still dating and we moved in together too! He has taken me to every doctors appointment, and has been the most supportive boyfriend you could imagine. I went to all of his shows, and obviously was there when we worked. Today was the first day since m accident I wouldn't have to go back to hospital ad i intend on it being amazing!!
Sal began to wake up, so i held onto his hand, and gently kissed his cheek which instantly bought a smile on his face.
"Morning gorgeous" he said to me. I smiled at the compliment, even though he told me it everyday.
"Good morning" i replied.
"Is today April 2nd?" Sal asked with a huge smile. I nodded. "Your first day without medicine or doctors! To celebrate, I've booked us reservations at our favourite place for my favourite girl" Sal said. I smiled and cuddled back up to him. Today will be a great day! Little did i know what was awaiting for me...
