I led there on his bed for a while, my head comfortably nested into his chest. I could hear his gentle heart beating against my ear. It was oddly peaceful. My head was thumping, which was to be expected. I looked out the window and saw the bright sun peeking through the window. It has only just occurred to me how long i was in this coma. The last thing i remember was deep snow, now its sunny. The person i felt the most sorry for was Sal. He shouldn't have to be looking after me now, especially after waiting for me to wake up for months. I felt awful laying here, and him looking after me. I wanted to thank him, but I didn't know how.
"Have you gotten any sleep?" Sal asked with a light laugh.
"Nope" i replied with a smile. "Would you like to watch a film tonight? We could get some chocolate and popcorn an just spend the night watching a good film together" i said to him.
"You've changed your tune" he joked. "Are you feeling better?" He asked.
"Not really. But ive realised how precious the time we have is and i would love to spend mine with you" I said to him. We were on the brink of kiss but the door knocked.
"I'll be back now babe" Sal said, as he left.
'Did he just call me babe??' I thought to myself. It made me have the feelings of butterflies in my stomach and I didn't know why.

I heard the voices of Q, Joe and Murr at the door. The next thing I knew, I saw their faces peering around the corner of the door.
"Hello" i said to them as they walked next to me. I sat up in bed and gave them a smile.
"How are you?" Joe asked.
"A bit of a headache but I'm okay" i replied.
"Is Sa looking after you?" Q asked.
"Yes" i replied, glancing over to Sal who was reading though another leaflet, which made me giggle.
"Good" Q said.
"We have visited you everyday in hospital" Murr said. "Now because you missed Christmas, we have some gifts for you" Murr added, handing me a gift bag. I opened it up and saw box of chocolates, a few fit she's and a framed photo of me and the guys.
"This is beautiful, thank you" I said to them as i hugged them.
The guys looked over at Sal and suddenly said
"We have to go, we'll visit you tomorrow".
"Bye" I replied.

After they left I was texting my mum and Sal was sat next to me reading through leaflets.
"Hey Em" Sal began.
"Yeah" i replied, putting my phone down.
"I was reading this leaflet, and it said for you to get a full recovery..." he said.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"You should go out with me?" Sal asked.
"Defiantly" i replied, kissing him.
