After we finished eating, we decided it was best to go home. On the way home we made a quick detour down to the little park we met up in before, where i shown Sal the park where my dad took me. Sal gripped onto my hand and led me onto the little bank. We sat down on the grass as I nestled my head on his chest.
"Thank you" i said to Sal, with a shiver because i was cold.
"For what?" He asked.
"Just being... you. You have helped me through so much in my life and have been such an amazing friend to me, and now we are going to be married" i said, attempting to get my head around it. It felt surreal.
"Your the reason im who i am. Without you i dont know where id be. I need you in my life. I... I love you" Sa said. He placed a soft kiss on my head and pulled me even closer. I was still shivering because i had no sleeves on my dress.
"Are you cold?" Sal asked.
"Freezing" i said with a laugh. He took his jacket off and wrapped it around my arms to keep me warm.
"Your the best thing to ever happen to me" i said to him.
"Ditto" he replied with a chuckle.

The next morning, i woke up with Sal just about getting up. I sat up and pulled him back down on the bed causing him to laugh for some unknown reason.
"What are you doing?" Sal asked between laughs.
"Dont go" i said, cuddling back up to him.
"I have to go to work, and then that awards show after work" Sal explained.
"But.. just stay a few minutes" i asked.
"Welll if you want, you can join me at the awards evening. Bessy is going too, and Murr is bringing his new girlfriend, we are meeting for the first time" Sal told me. "But we have to have a couples picture on the red carpet" Sal added.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because i want to show everyone i have a beautiful fiancée" Sal explained. I smiled and kissed his cheek and let him continue his day.
That Night
We reached the awards ceremony to be greeted by Bessy, Joe and Q.
"Hey guys" I said.
"Hello Mrs Vulcano" Q joked. Me and Sal laughed until we looked around to see no Murr.
"Where's Murray?" Sal asked.
"And his mystery girl" i joked.
Q and Joe turned around, so did me and Sal and saw his new girlfriend
"Oh god" i said as i saw them both.
