I looked at my life,
And I mean really looked hard,
Then looked at social security,
The number on the card.
Is that all i'm worth?
I couldn't help but ask,
All the lives i've saved in my time,
Was no easy task.
Yet they smack a label on you,
And expect you to comply,
I look around exhausted,
I can't imagine why.
If God is my creator,
Did he give me a label too?
"Of course not" I said,
After all the label is up to you.
