Inwardly, my mood is getting dark. She is clearly a mouth piece. Being used. Though, I am sure her father needs help.
I stop and reverse my mood.
The dragon has given me good advice, and I am really a guest on this planet. I have one command of the Goddess. I must live. Starting fights right now is a bad idea. I devote myself learn more and use what the Goddess has already told me.
The result was sudden 'flushed with epiphany' moment. A warm glow inside. The girl also, a mild shudder and questioning glance my way. She must have felt it too.
Standing, I arrive at a plan. First, find a good stone (a nice one is located nearby).
Then continue the 'keep them guessing' approach the Goddess set up.
I will throw the stone with illogical maneuvers. A cricket style run up with the stone in air, then a forward flip like the famous soccer players sometimes use, then sling the rock and do a cheerleader 'leg slide' split onto the blanket.
There is a dead tree just over there.

The rock makes a wonderful whoosh sound in the air.
As I do the split, I am so happy to see the rock on course to hit the trunk of the dead tree.
The rock strikes and the reverberation can be felt here. Every large limb shatters and small ends of limbs turn to dust. The limbs fall like a sudden snow drop off a ladened evergreen.
What I did not count on was the squawking hoards of black birds that rose in confusion from every tree around.
