Unease? Oh Yes.

Some of the mages running viewing spells just stopped watching. Only four viewing spells were watching the dragon.

The mages council and a mage of the nearest realm also had viewing spells watching the warrior woman with her travelers.

When the dead tree turned to a tall stump surrounded by twigs and chips; the lead mage barked an order.

Usually calm and methodical, he said "Send a message to the ruler of that realm right away. Do not send a message bottle to your man until we inform you."

He even just sends that message himself.

Those around wait for the explanation.

"Many generations ago the Warrior Women Enclave on this continent set forth limits. Limits that they enforce.

No machine or magic device created may be used in battles to destroy keep walls or doors. Battles must be 'person to person' or melee.

Sieges must encircle. Those inside must be given time to surrender. Given time to prove that none will come to dispel the siege for them.

That woman is a living war machine. How many stones would she need to throw at any keep drawbridge or fortified door before it would be gone?

I do not want her to realize that we are watching.

We mages might be the only thing to stop her from despoiling every ruler's keep in a single season."

From the viewing of spells in the air, it becomes an odd scene. The woman is dancing in slow twirls under flocks of disturbed birds.

The mage has, in some few cases, seen those that embrace chaos with a deranged laughter and evil delight. Is this what the dragon has brought to their world?
