I am unsteady, but get up. Laying onto an area flat above the shoulder. I adjust my face onto a center higher portion of the neck, so my face rests on her right side.
"OK. How did you know to do that?"
I am still dizzy and ramble.
"A lovely form, a shoulder born, to take away a sweet guest.
My life isn't supine and held to your spine.
Aloft I am taken, of you. Am I mistaken?
My heartbeats sound into you."
She jumps.
