"I hate it when I get flashbacks of the memories I don't want to remember."

~ ❀ ~

Monday, today is a Monday. The day that students dreaded so much. The day that another five consistent days of school started. The day that everyone wished didn't exist. But for Jungwoo, Monday meant he had another five days for his friends, and away from his Mother. To put it short, Jungwoo liked Mondays.

And the Monday today is extra special. He was walking towards the gate of school when he spotted a very familiar a̸n̸d̸ a̸ v̸e̸r̸y̸ h̸a̸n̸d̸s̸o̸m̸e̸  face. The taller male was talking to his friends, while they stood by the gates. Jungwoo's heart started beating faster, he had to breath slowly to calm himself down.

He mustered all of the courage he had and walked to the gates, pretending not to see the group of males that were standing nearby. Jungwoo thought he succesfully made his way inside the school unnoticed, but when hurried footsteps followed him, he knew his plan failed.

But what confused him, is no one approached him properly, I mean, no one talked to him, or broke the silence. But Jungwoo was sure they were still there, he could still hear the footsteps, and people were looking at them, so maybe they are still following Jungwoo.

They were all about to turn a corner when a body collided with his, the other male knocking Jungwoo off his feet, the taller male of course, prioritized the shorter who, closed his eyes tightly as he waited for the impact. The taller wrapped his arms around the shorter, as they fell to the floor.

Jungwok waited for a strong impact of him hitting the floor, but it never came. Instead, strong arms wrapped around him, his eyes widened, getting up quickly, feeling his skin still against his.

"Hey, hey." Jungwoo turned around, his eyes meeting Yukhei's. So they were still following him. "Don't worry. You're fine." The shorter was lost in the other's eyes, helping him forget the tingling feeling crawling inside his skin.

Yukhei successfully calmed Jungwoo down, but his blood was slightly boiling because of the other male that tackled Jungwoo. His eyes snapped away from the shorter and into the guy who was being helped up by his friends.

"Hey, I'm sorry." The other said, dusting his pants and reaching out a hand to Jungwoo, who just looked at it, like he did to Yukhei. "I'm Hyunjae." The male said, Hyunjae, as he retreated his hand. "I'm really sorry if I hurt you, are you alright?"

"Fine." Jungwoo answered, nodding a bit, smiling, well stretching his lips to the side. His elbow quite hurt, but it wasn't unbearable.

"Oh, uh... Can I know your name?" Hyunjae said, rubbing the back of his neck, Yukhei clenched his fist, feeling his blood boil even more.

"It's Jungwoo." The shorter said, smiling at Hyunjae, he was in front of Yukhei, so Jungwoo couldn't see that Yukhei was clenching and unclenching his fist.

"Jungwoo, huh, it suits you." Hyunjae grinned, showing a set of straight white teeth. "Well, I'll see you around."

"Yeah."

"Oh and again, I'm really sorry." Hyunjae waved at Jungwoo, who waved back lightly. When Hyunjae was gone, Jungwoo looked at Yukhei, who was still glaring at the other male's back.

"You alright?" Jungwoo asked the taller, who snapped his eyes at him. His expression immediately softening, his eyebrows not meeting anymore.

The taller nodded, smiling a bit. Jungwoo nodded too, starting to walk towards his classroom again, but throughout the whole way, he was rubbing his right elbow that hit the ground too hard. Yukhei noticed this though, his blood boiling again. p̸o̸s̸s̸e̸s̸s̸i̸v̸e̸ m̸u̸c̸h̸, y̸u̸k̸h̸e̸i̸?

Jungwoo was about to enter his classroom when he felt a hand on his own, he knew that hand immediately, making his heart beat increase, as the hand tightened it's grip on his left hand. He got pulled back, facing Yukhei's serious face. He felt his cheeks burn when he realized how close Yukhei was.

Yukhei raised his left hand, Jungwoo letting him. The taller's other hand pushed Jungwoo's sleeve away, seeing the fresh scars. Jungwoo tried to pull his arm away, but Yukhei kept a tight grip on his hand. Slowly, the taller's thumb touched the scarred skin, looking at it intently. He wanted those to go away. They were caused by pain, they were made by pain, and it will always be a reminder of pain for Jungwoo.

"It doesn't hurt anymore, I swear." Jungwoo said, trying to make Yukhei let go of his hand. The taller sighed audibly, making Jungwoo look at him immediately. "I'm sorry." The shorter whispered, feeling down because of Yukhei's expression.

"Don't do this again." Yukhei said, sternly, his eyes looking straight into Jungwoo's. "This is bad for you, okay?"

"I know." Jungwoo said, finally pulling his hand away from Yukhei's grip. "I won't do it again." Maybe not soon. Or maybe never. Again

Yukhei sighed again, and reached for Jungwoo's hand again, but this time, the shorter slightly hesitated, but all the hesitation went away when Yukhei intertwined their fingers, the taller keeping a slightly powerful grip on Jungwoo's hand, making the shorter blush. Jungwoo looked around, students were looking at them, but it looked like Yukhei didn't even care.

"I'm right here, okay?" Yukhei said, keeping their hands intertwined. "Trust me, I'll never hurt you."

"I do."
