"I know everything happens for a reason, but sometimes I wish I knew what the reason was."

"Happy birthday, bro." Taeyong greeted Yukhei, who was walking silently with them, while the others talked about where they should eat. The elder noticed the younger's distress, and decided to meddle with it. "You alright?"

"Yeah." The brown-haired male answered, looking at Taeyong's eyes, before smiling a bit. "Why wouldn't I be, right, hyung?"

After Yukhei said that, they were both quiet, silently walking behind their other friends. Until Taeyong's eyes started roaming the corridors, only to see a familiar face that were staring back at their group. And unconsciously, he tapped Yukhei's shoulder and gestured for the shorter.

"Aren't you two gonna eat lunch together?" The elder asked, frowning when Yukhei shook his head. "Why not?"

"It's nothing, hyung." Yukhei insisted, but Taeyong wasn't stopping anytime soon.

"You can tell me." Taeyong said, curiously looking back to where Jungwoo was, Yukhei also did that, but when they two looked at the same spot, Jungwoo wasn't there anymore.

"You two coming?" Jeno's voice called for Yukhei and Taeyong, the two didn't even realized they had stopped walking, and when they did they ran and caught up with their other friends, who had already made a decision on where to eat and celebrate Yukhei's birthday.

The sound of a leaking faucet was the first thing Jungwoo noticed as soon as he stepped inside the comfort room, eyes scanning the empty room. He pushed every stall open, making sure that no one was in there with him. When there was no one else there, he stood in front of the huge mirror, before staring at his reflection.

"You're pathetic," Jungwoo whispered at himself, watching at how quick his eyes watered, and how his cheeks reddened. "Why are you even crying?"

At first, it was just small rolls of teardrops falling from his watery eyes, but it slowly became an endless river of sadness and guilt. His sobs probably echoed inside the whole room, but everyone was probably busy eating their lunch, too busy to care about him.

Jungwoo swore he locked the door, but it still slammed on the wall behind it, so it wasn't locked. The brown-haired male didn't even care who it was, and just wiped his tears away, but it still kept on falling. The sudden hand on his wrists caught him off guard, a series of quick flashes from his past started playing inside his head, making the tears fall faster.

"I have to get you out of here," I know that voice. Jungwoo thought, letting this male drag him out of the comfort room and somewhere, his mind blank as it flashed his horrible memories. "Now."

They probably walked for a few minutes, until the person stopped dragging Jungwoo, and just stood there, hand removing itself from Jungwoo's wrists, and finally Jungwoo could look up, tears stopping from falling from his eyes.

"Why-Why are we o-out of the s-school?" Jungwoo asked, managing to turn around and almost cross the street, but the elder stopped him from doing so.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." The elder almost threatened, but there was something genuine in his tone and just the way he stared at Jungwoo. "It's not safe in there."
