"You never fail to amaze me. Everyday there is something new that makes me love you even more than the day before."

~ ❀ ~

The cold was bearable, but it was definitely uncomfortable, although, he was slightly fond of it now. Jungwoo was facing the wall, eyes trained on the snowy glass window, as the stars and moon shined brightly on the night sky. He couldn't sleep, and it was already annoying him.

He turned and shifted on the bed, limbs sprawled out as the blankets enveloped him fully. But it wasn't enough. Jungwoo crawled onto the edge of the bed, only seeing a broad back facing him. Ah, nevermind. Jungwoo laid back down on the bed, he didn't want this. But, Mrs. Wong didn't want him to feel uncomfortable with a giant practically squeezing the life out of him.

Pulling the blankets closer to him, Jungwoo scooted to the edge of the bed, and was just staring up at the ceiling. He bit his lip, as he glanced at Yukhei again. Just sleep, okay? He closed his eyes, finally feeling the sleepiness lull him. But, the memories didn't let him.

He remembered... All the holidays he'd spent all alone, miserable, and... Cold. His Mother would always leave, probably to be with some people that Jungwoo didn't know, people she'd chose over than her children, her son. 2 years, he'd spent 2 holiday seasons without anyone, and 4 with his sister, but she left.

For the nth time that night, Jungwoo opened his eyes and sighed, sitting up and running a hand through his hair. Should I? He bit his lip, and decided. He sighed again, before reaching for his pillow and hugging it tightly. I shouldn't. He placed the pillow back, but hesitated before laying back down. Jungwoo sat up again, just looking at Yukhei, who was peacefully sleeping. I shouldn't. I could wake him up.

So, even if it was a hard decision, he laid back down, closing his eyes, and turning to face the wall again. Feeling the drowsiness overcome him again.

"Just sleep." He whispered to himself, fighting the urge to face the other way again, and contemplate on whether he should sleep beside the taller.

He was feeling the sleep wash over him, and he was finally tired after all the tossing and turning, the shifting and sitting up, but, he was still cold. On the other hand, someone woke up from all the silent shuffling, piercing the silence of the room. Yukhei, even with drowsy eyes, sat up, looking at Jungwoo, who was now breathing calmly.

The taller looked at the alarm clock which displayed 12:01 with red digital numbers. Without even hesitating, Yukhei grabbed his pillow and own blanket, and stood up. With heavy footsteps, he finally kneeled down on his bed, trying to control his body from creating too much noise that would startle the shorter. And he succeeded, he was now silently staring at Jungwoo's shoulder, watching him breath.

Yukhei noticed how Jungwoo's body would shiver ever so often, so he did the most rational thing to do. He pulled his own blanket over Jungwoo's already blanketed body.
