"Before believing, find the truth. Before accepting, try to understand."

~ ❀ ~

Staring down, Jungwoo lets out an audible sigh, as he looked at all the vandals that were now covering his desk. Is she that crazy? He just ignored the writings and placed his bag down, walking outside of his classroom, only to see other students looking at him with their eyebrows knitted. It took a while before Jungwoo realized what was happening. Seriously?

He was about to walk back inside his classroom, when a familiar face showed up, and Jungwoo could feel the itching sensation to just snap at the person in front of him. But he didn't, he had to stay calm. And besides, if he gets angry, she'll be happy. That's the exact reaction she wanted.

"Doing great so far?" Hayoon smirked, looking at Jungwoo, who stared innocently at her, which made her irritated. "Acting so tough, huh?" She scoffed again, getting no reaction from Jungwoo. "Oh, just you wait. I'll sho–"

"Could you leave him alone?" Both of them reacted to that voice, Jungwoo smiled slightly, and Hayoon looked away. Yukhei stood beside Jungwoo, and looked down at her. "If you can't say anything nice to him. Just don't say anything to him at all. Or don't even come near him." Yukhei said seriously, holding a stoic face for her to see. He faced Jungwoo and held the shorter's hand. "Come on." The shorter of the two blinked, and just let Yukhei drag him somewhere.

They both arrived at the field, there weren't many people here, so Jungwoo was feeling relieved already. What didn't help though, is Yukhei's serious face. And it looked like the taller was also fidgety, constantly running his fingers through his hair and biting his lip.

"Are you gonna tell me something?" Jungwoo decided to ask, making Yukhei sigh. On the outside, Jungwoo was calm and collected, but on the inside his mind was going haywire. Why did he bring me here? What's gonna happen?

"Yeah, actually." Yukhei answered after a while, Jungwoo nodded. They were seated on one of the benches placed under the trees, and it was silent. Yukhei didn't speak for a short period of time, until he mustered up all his courage. "My..."

"Your?"

"How can I say this?" Yukhei groaned, running his fingers through his hair again, but his perfectly styled hair just fell right back. "Fuck it." The taller said, Jungwoo frowned, and almost chuckled at how cute Yukhei is. w̸a̸i̸t̸ w̸h̸a̸t̸. "I was wondering if you're free this Saturday?"

"What?" Jungwoo slightly tilted his head to the side, not quite understanding what Yukhei wanted to tell him.

"I mean, you're not doing something by Saturday, right?" Jungwoo shook his head, he doesn't do anything on weekends, except when the others invite him somewhere. "Great." The taller grinned.

"Why?" Jungwoo asked, still not knowing what's gonna happen. "What's gonna happen on Saturday?"

"You'll see." Yukhei grinned again, Jungwoo felt his heart beating faster, not only because of Yukhei's smile, but also from the anxiety of the unknown. "Don't worry too much, okay?"
