"I wonder if we ever think of each other at the same time."

~ ❀ ~

Nine days. It's exactly the ninth day that Yukhei just walked past Jungwoo, but it was unbeknownst to the taller, this time, taller was walking, well, running with Jinyoung, as they caught up with Hayoon and Ryuji who were already walking ahead of them, and for the nth time, Jungwoo felt his heart being torn apart.

And it hurt, it hurt so bad. Jungwoo hated it, it was like his heart was being pierced with thorns, as his stomach dropped, and his bad thoughts didn't help one bit. But, he remained quiet, remained silent, remained unnoticed, when he should be noticed, when he should be comforted, when he should be cared for.

"You're alone again," Jungwoo looked away from the door, he was unconsciously staring at the door as the four left the library, instead, he slowly looked up, and saw Hyunjae, who was smiling at him. "Can I sit here?" No.

"Sure." His answer earned a smile from the elder, Jungwoo looked back at the door once more, before he heard the chair being pulled, and being dragged on the wooden floor. To be honest, Jungwoo hated that sound, but he chose not to comment about it.

"You're always alone," Hyunjae spoke after a short moment of silence, Jungwoo hummed as an answer, not looking up from his book. "Why?"

"They're all busy." The younger answered halfheartedly, noticing that Hyunjae's nodding.

"You sure?" By this time, Jungwoo looked up, placing his book down and closing it, putting his index finger on the page, so he doesn't lose it. "Busy?"

"Yes," Jungwoo stated, looking straight into Hyunjae's eyes, looking for an emotion. "Why would they not be with me, rather than being busy?"

"Ah," Hyunjae smiled slightly, looking down and opening his own book. "Alright." But Jungwoo saw it, the emotion in his eyes, it was almost, challenging, deceiving, or irritating to Jungwoo. "Hmm? Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Nothing," The shorter answered, also looking down and reading the book again. "I thought I saw something."

"Ah." Hyunjae nodded, glancing at Jungwoo, who was now reading his book again, but the shorter's hair was slightly blocking his view. So, he took it upon himself, and moved the other's hair, and tucked it behind the other's ear, the shorter instantly looking up, only to see the elder smiling at him.

It happened quickly, too quickly, that Jungwoo's mind didn't realize what was happening, until the people were separating the two, and until their voices were the only voices being heard inside the library.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" The younger shouted, instantly pushing the taller up, and of course, as a reflex the elder stood up.

"What am I doing?!" The elder also raised his voice, looking at the younger who was looking at him with hate.

"Bastard!" The younger male exclaimed, now holding onto the elder's collar. Some students pulled them away from each other, and held them, so they wouldn't charge into each other again, but Hyunjae was calm.

When people started to look at Jungwoo, that's when his mind understood what the hell just happened, but, his heart understood a whole minute before. And what did he feel about it? Disappointment.
