"My demons, though quiet, are never quite silenced. Calm as they may be, they wait patiently for a reason to wake, take an overdue breath and crawl back to my ear."

As he walked inside the campus, Jungwoo couldn't help but feel weird. He started rubbing his arm out of habit, as he looked around. He thought eyes were trained on him, but as he looked at the other students, they didn't even mind Jungwoo's presence. The teenager breathed hard, calming himself down.

He continued walking to his room, peeking inside the classroom right before theirs, for that certain brown-haired male, but the taller and his friends were not there. Jungwoo thought that they were just hanging out, as always, and entered his own classroom, waiting until the bell rung, signalling that classes were about to start.

The teenager listened well to the lectures, taking down notes as their teacher spoke in front. Jungwoo's mind slowly drifted away, until he was just staring at the window, his teacher's voice muffled as he thought about various things, until time flew by, the next bell ringing for next period.

And again, he listened for the first few minutes until his eyes landed on the scenery out of the window. Just like before, Jungwoo heard the bell ring again, reminding the students that it was break time. The teenager closed his notebook and walked outside, hoping to see that brown-haired male, but didn't.

He, once again, peeked inside their classroom, and again, they weren't there, Jungwoo frowned. Where are they? The shorter thought, looking around the hallways, hoping to see at least one of Yukhei's friends. Jungwoo sighed when there was none, he started walking towards Dongyoung's room, waiting for the elder to come out of his room.

Jungwoo started getting bored, and decided to look inside, he almost slammed his head on the wall when there was no one there. He sighed and walked to the cafeteria, hoping that they were there. He was enjoying the quietness of the hallways, relaxing as he walked slowly.

"I'm sorry." Someone whispered, before Jungwoo felt a blindfold being tied around his head, blocking his sight. He tried to get away, or push the person away, as the person dragged him somewhere, he also tried calling out for help, but another cloth was placed over his mouth, preventing him from screaming.

He was panicking, and the sound of a door opening didn't help, he tried to grasp for the person, but sadly, he failed, he felt himself falling, onto the cold floor, the eerie quietness getting into his nerve.

"Stay here." The person said again, the door closing, and a lock clicking. Jungwoo still felt his hands on his wrists, and the person's palm pressing onto his back as the person pushed Jungwoo inside.

The anxiety started crawling inside his body, then Jungwoo remembered that he wasn't tied up, he removed the blindfold, instantly regretting his move because the darkness still prevented him from seeing clearly. He also removed the gag, finally able to breath properly.

With wobbly legs, he stood up, holding onto the door handle for support, shaking the knob, hoping for someone to hear him. He hit the door, knocking furiously.

"Help!" He cried out, feeling the tears pooling at the sides of his eyes. "Please! Is anyone there?!"

But he was answered with silence, and the anxiety grew, he thought someone was in there with him, his eyes snapping onto the darkness that engulfed him, he couldn't see anything, and that made it worse.

He started seeing the faces that haunted him, their creepy expressions stuck in Jungwoo's mind. The teenager pressed his back onto the door, his eyes tightly closed as he pressed his hands on his ear, blocking the sounds that his mind created, then his tears started falling, as he rocked himself back and forth, calming himself down.

"Someone..." He whispered, as tears kept on flowing freely onto his red cheeks. "S-Someone will c-come." He started breathing hard, and because the room had no windows or gaps for air to come in, he started getting dizzy.

"Where's Jungwoo?" Yukhei looked up, seeing Ten standing there, his expression slightly worried.

"I thought he was with you?" The taller answered, standing up, they were sitting on the field, waiting for that Hyunjae to come around again.

"Well, he's not." Donghyuck snapped, making Yukhei's eyebrows meet.

"Let's just look for him." Youngho suggested, dusting his pants, their other friends following.

"Why don't we call him?" Jeno suggested, pulling out his phone, hoping for someone to tell him Jungwoo's number.

"He leaves his phone inside his bag." Taeil answered, rubbing the bridge of his nose as he sighed. "His phone is literally useless."

"No one saw him leave his room?" Chenle asked, looking at the three whose room was right next to Jungwoo's.

"We were dismissed early." Minhyung answered, his pace slowing down as he saw a male running towards what looked like the cafeteria, he frowned, but kept quiet.

"Where are the places he usually go to?" Taeyong asked, looking around for the younger.

"Nowhere." Jaemin asked, his heart beating quickly as anxiety grew inside of him.

They were quiet after that, they were too busy stressing and looking for Jungwoo that they had silenced. They walked to Jungwoo's room, Yukhei feeling nervous all of a sudden. Renjun thinking about what Yukhei told them yesterday.

"Why don't we look for Hyunjae?" Renjun suggested, all of them nodding as they walked to the cafeteria.

I'm gonna punch him so hard if he's involved in this. Yukhei thought, his jaws clenching as they walked inside the hall full of people. Looking for that certain older that had issues with Yukhei.
