Chapter 20

ELY CELINA

We stopped over in Jollibee for breakfast, very late breakfast. Mas lalong maiinis si Nicole, I know! But I'm really hungry kaya mags-sorry nalang ako sa kanya. I bought burger and fries with drinks before heading towards the sunflower farm.

When we arrived, mabilis kaming sinalubong ni Nicole ng may nakabusangot na pagmumukha habang ang braso ay naka-krus pa sa kanyang harapan. Mukha ngang bored na siya dahil ilang oras ko siya pinaghintay doon.

"Mabuti naman at naisipan mo pang pumunta dito?"

I laughed, "I'm so sorry, okay? I'll just pay you double," I told him but he instantly rolled his eyes.

"God, how can you double a zero amount? Bakit ba kasi ako pumayag na libre 'to?!"

I shrugged, "Daniella's your soon to be inaanak," I told him then he chuckled before nodding and leading the way towards the event proper. Well, they already built a mini stage and the tables and chairs already arrived.

"We mostly used pastel yellow, it'll match with the garden theme plus the fact that it'll be held in a sunflower farm," Nicole explained.

I nodded, we just discussed everything about the party needs and the additional decorations.

"Mas prefer ko ang combination ng pastel rose and pastel yellow na kulay para sa mga chairs and table arrangement," I suggested.

Nicole nodded before changing the color of the chairs and tables on the tablet that he's holding. I don't know it's model but I knew that it's brand new dahil nakita ko ang post niya 'nung nakaraan sa instagram na galing daw sa sugar daddy niya.

After a few minutes my stomach growled so I call David's attention, "Hon, bili ka muna ng lunch natin," I told him while he's helping the others to carry some things.

He nodded before kissing the top of my head, "Okay. I'll be back," he whispered before walking away.

Nagulat naman ako nang biglang magtilian ang mga kasama kong nagplaplano na nakalibot sa isang normal size na round table. Ang ilan naman ay pabiro pa akong sinabunutan dahil ang haba daw ng hair ko.

"Siguro after ng binyag 'e kasalan na ang aayusin natin for Ate Ely," natatawang biro ni Letty, isa sa mga tauhan ni Nicole na malapit din sa akin.

I shrugged with her suggestion, "Well... Why not, diba?" I asked them back.

Muli, nagtawanan at nagkantyawan nanaman sila. Nakakatuwa lang tignan dahil hindi sila nai-stress sa mga pinagagawa ko sa kanila. We just further discussed about the event program before David arrived holding huge paper bags full of food.

"Grabe naman si David! Parang may fiesta dahil sa dami ng inorder!" Nicole exclaimed, natawa naman si David dahil doon bago ipinatong ang kanang braso sa balikat ko.
