"Hey sis!" My annoying older brother, Dally yelled. He never wanted me to be alone, but he didn't want me with a boy either. The only boys I was aloud to talk to was the gang.
"Hey Dall"I sighed. I was outside the Curtis house, sitting on the stairs.
"Why so gloomy?" He asked as he messed my, already messy, braid up. I punched him in the arm and giggled. The only person who's ever been aloud to punch Dallas Winston and get away with it is me. He chuckled and rubbed his arm.
"Your getting stronger!" He smiled. "Hey, do you want to go to the DX with me and Pony?" I tried to hide my cheeks as they turned bright red. I've always liked Ponyboy. We've grown up together, I was 13 and a half and he had just turned 14. So we were technically the same age. Dally didn't know this, and he wasn't going to find out either.
"Sure, sounds fun!" I smiled. I had gotten pretty good at hiding my feelings for Pony. It's not like anyone expected Dallas Winston's sister to ever have a boyfriend.
"Hey Pony! Come on man!" Dally yelled into the doorway. Pony came out shirtless, I almost gasped. He smirked knowing I was checking him out.
"Hey Tootsie!" He waved. The gang always called me tootsie, when I was younger I used to steal tootsie rolls from stores.
She's a real greaser!, Dally would say after I would swipe a few from the candy isle.
"Hey Pony, long time no see." I stared at my shoes trying to stop myself from peeking at his bare torso.
"Yeah, where you been? I know Dally don't let you hangout with anyone but us!" He teased. It was true though. Dally and I left New York together and he's been my guardian ever since. When Pony lost his parents I was the only one he would talk to for the first few days. Except Soda. I guess I just understood what he was going through better than the rest of the gang.

"Well if you must know, I've made a new friend." I said proudly. He frowned and looked at me.
"Girl friend? Or.. boy friend?" He asked concerned. My heart started racing at the thought of Pony being jealous.
"Girl." I said quickly. Pony exhaled loudly then leaned back.
"I-I just know that Dally doesn't like you hanging out with other boys." He said looking at me.
" Well he's gonna have to get over it. I can't keep ignoring boys my whole life." I said slightly annoyed. I knew Dally didn't want me to have a boyfriend. He said that there were more boys like him out in the world. And he doesn't want me to fall for one of them.
"You don't have to ignore every boy." Pony smiled at me. Still shirtless, he got up and walked into the house.
I sat on the stairs thinking about what Pony and said. What does it mean? Was he talking about himself? Does someone else in the gang like me? Maybe Johnny? I'm over thinking this! I sighed loudly and leaned back in the stairs.
"Hey tootsie! Let's go!" Dally flicked my forehead. I must have fallen asleep. I got up and adjusted my jacket. I didn't realize how bad I wanted a weed.
"Hey Dall, you got a lighter?" I asked. He reached in his pocket and shook his head.
"Sorry sis." He said. I sighed and started to look in my pockets.
"I got one." Pony came up behind me. I gasped as he touched my hand. Dally frowned and pulled a lighter out of his back pocket.
"Ah man, I did have one!" He pulled the lighter out and lit himself a weed. I glanced at Pony. He was smiling like an idiot at me.
"Do I have something on my face?" I asked him. Omg do I?! Why else would he be staring at me?! He shook his head and winked.
"No. But I wouldn't be surprised if you did." He laughed. I punched his arm, and he winced.
"Your right Dall, she is getting stronger!" He laughed even harder. Dally joined in, they looked like two fools if you ask me.
"You guys are so weird" I rolled my eyes and walked faster. They quickly caught up to me, although me and Pony were the same age he was about a foot taller than me.
When we finally reached the DX, which felt like an eternity. Soda and Steve had their noses in the hood of a car. I didn't know much about cars, but it was always interesting watching them work on one.
"Hey Tootsie, you want to go inside and get a Pepsi with me?" Pony asked as he looked at Dally. Dall didn't seem to hear him.
"S-Sure." I stuttered. I probably sounded like an idiot. We walked into the cool building. No one was there, surprisingly.
I grabbed a Pepsi and handed it to Pony. He smirked and put it back.
"Why'd you do that?" I asked him, confused. He smiled and grabbed my waist. My heart thundered as his lips got closer and closer. All I could think about was him. His eyes, his hair, his jacket, his hands wrapped around me. And his lips.... his lips... Were on mine!!! I kissed him back. It was amazing, people say you will remember your first kiss forever. I never really believed that. How special can one kiss be? Well, now I know, one kiss can change your whole life.
"Sorry, I just had to." Pony let go and stepped back. I blushed, and walked closer to him.
"You don't have to be sorry." Put my arms on his shoulders and played with his hair. He smiled and kissed my cheek.
"I love you Y/N" He whispered in my ear. Y/N?? That's the first time in forever he's called me by my real name. Chills rushed through my body.
"I love you too PonyBoy." I whispered back. I didn't want this moment to end. So I kissed him.
"I guess now all we have to do is tell Dall." I smirked. He hugged me tighter.
"Ugh. Can we not think about that right now?" He asked. I giggled and looked out the window. I saw three faces peeping in. Soda, Steve, and My older brother. But don't worry.... they were smiling!
