My brother Ponyboy and I were walking home from school. It was our last day before summer break and we couldn't stop talking about our summer plans.

"I wonder if Darry will let us leave Tulsa for a few days. Maybe Johnny and Dall can come with us." He lit a cancer stick and inhaled deeply. I felt a rush of excitement when he mentioned bringing someone other than him and Soda.
"Maybe we could bring Two-bit.." I suggested. I tried not to blush at the thought of going out of town with Two-bit Matthews! Pony smirked at me and shook his head.

"Y/N, if your not gonna talk to Two-bit I will for ya. You've liked him for to long." He sighed. I gasped and punched his arm. "Ahh! What the heck?! I only suggested you talk to him!" He rubbed his arm. I giggled and looked down at my feet.

"I dunno, maybe." I started to smile at the thought of spending the summer with Two-bit.

When we got home I immediately went to my room and closed the door. I wanted to spend a few minutes alone before the rest of the gang came over, including Two-bit. I laid on my bed trying to think of a way to tell him that I like him. There was really no easy way of getting the point across. So I decided to just pull him aside and come clean.

"Hey Y/N, come here real quick!" I heard my twin brother Sodapop yell. I took a deep breath and walked out of my room. The whole gang was laying around the living room, Soda and Pony on the couch, Dally on the chair, Steve leaned against the door way, Darry leaning against the wall closest to the door, and Two-bit, he was sitting in the floor with something in his hand. It looked like a small box wrapped in velvet red paper, It had a blue ribbon wrapped around the top.

"Hey guys!" I said as I tried to get a closer look at the box
"Hey Y/N, long time no see." Dally winked. I furiously blushed and rolled my eyes. Two-bit noticed the redness on my face and sighed.

"Hey Y/N, you wanna grab a beer with me. In the kitchen?" He asked. Why the hell does Two-Bit want me to go with him??

"Um.. okay." I nodded and walked into the kitchen. Two-Bit followed, he grabbed a beer and took a swig. I quietly watched, sorta confused on to why I had to be here.

"You know, I don't like you flirting with Dally." He muttered.

  "Flirting?!" I was in shock. Never had I thought of Dallas Winston as my type. Two-Bit chuckled and walked over to me. I suddenly got shaky and flustered.

"Yeah, and I don't like it." He smirked. I looked down and took a deep breath. 

"Why?" I asked. Two-bit sighed and pulled me into a soft kiss. I was shocked but quickly melted into the kiss.

"Because, I want to make you mine." He smiled and pulled the velvet box out of his pocket. I gasped as he revealed a gold ring with a beautiful stone in the center.

"Two-Bit! It beautiful!" I examined the ring as he smiled at me.

"I'm glad you like it." He took the ring out and slid it on my finger. I blushed and gazed at him. He smirked and grabbed my waist gently placing a kiss on my forehead.

"Come on the boys are probably wondering why we've been in here for so long." I said. He sighed and kissed me before walking back into the living room where the gang was staring into the kitchen. I laughed and followed tracing the lines in my new ring.

"Awww, you guys are pretty cute!" Pony elbowed me. "I hate to say I told you so, buuuuttttt, I told you so" he rambled. I rolled my eyes and slapped the back of his greasy head.
"Yeah Yeah, Your mr Match maker." I teased. Two-Bit walked over to me and hugged me.

"I gotta agree baby doll, he was right about this match." Two-bit winked at me. I was to into his gesture I barely noticed the rest of the gang's Ooooooossss and ahhhhhssss. Those dorks, haven't they ever seen two people in love before?
