I widened my eyes when I heard something slamming down the floor. After that, a sigh in relief came from Katsu. I don't really know what was happening but I guess Shin dodged someone's attacks.

After a couple of minutes, I could hear some light shuffling as another loud thud came outside. It sounds like a heavy chain being whipped along the hallway.

The door suddenly opened as two boys came inside and tried to push the door close. They were panting as their skin glowed a bit, giving a light aura around them. I widened my eyes as one of the boys met my gaze and stared at me.

The bangs were covering his other eye as I just stared at his cerulean eyes on the left. It wasn't normal though. I could literally see something on his eyes like a mist or a smoke lingering in it. Then, my attention went back to the door as the chain whipped the ground - getting a lot louder than it was before.

"Are you Katsu?" I suddenly asked at the boy as he nods, trying his best to hide his other eye from me. Shin, who looked a lot like Akio, gave a light tap on Katsu's shoulder before giving him a worried glance.

"I can't hold this much longer, Katsu. She's going to tear this door down eventually," he said as we heard a laughter erupting outside. A shriek then came, making Shin widen his eyes.

"Sakura!" he then yelled as he was interrupted by a scream of a little girl and another sadistic laugh as she whipped the chain on the floor, scaring us students inside the classroom.

"Open this door, Shin." A familiar girl said as she knocked furiously, hitting the door with her heavy chain. I gulped, seeing that the a piece of the door was broken, piercing a hole through it.

Katsu then nods at Shin as he suddenly opened the door and tackled Natsumi outside. Sakura then backed away and hugged Shin close as Natsumi glared at Katsu and tried to kick him off her.

She gave a light groan as Katsu pinned her wrist with one hand and then moved away the bangs that was covering his other eye with the other before showing it to Natsumi.

I didn't really know what happened but all I saw was that Natsumi was already running away from Katsu, dragging the heavy chain before disappearing into the dark hallway.

Before Katsu turned around, he then covered it back with his bangs before giving me a small smile.

"W-What did you do?" I stuttered out as he sighed, his head hung low. Shin, on the other hand, turned to sit beside Akio and Jun as Sakura followed him.

"You won't understand even if I explained it to you," Katsu replied as I just gave him a puzzled look. Well, that went great. One question is equivalent to a short reply.

He's not really the type of guy to answer your question in a descriptive way. Just a short reply to make you curious as hell.

Before he could walk away, I put a hand on his arm and made him look back again. I could see the confused look he gave me as I said out some words that made his calm cerulean eyes change into an icy cold one.

"Please do explain. I want to know what happened back there." He then hesitated before pulling me down on the floor, making me sit beside him. He sighed as he played the ends of his bangs.

"Before I was killed, a girl came up to me. Violet eyes, short red hair and a red ribbon on the side. She was also a student like me in this academy. I can't seem to remember her name though." He then continued as I listened carefully to every word he told me.

"Based on the pin that she had, she was a part of the student council government and was currently the occult club leader." I then nodded, urging for him to carry on.

"She told me that if I agreed to work on a cult to bring back the dead, I would be immortal." I nodded as I saw Shin giving Jun some documents and some photographs. Jun then nodded as Shin gave her a sweet smile in return.

I then looked back at Katsu, who seems to be staring at me intently before looking away.

"But, of course, the cult failed. Resulting her to be the demon on the occult club. And me? Well, I became a demon too." I gasped as he showed his eyes before covering it again. I then blinked for a bit, remembering the details of his eye.

Violet and blue had mixed very well on it, creating a yin yang effect. There was also some smoke or mist lingering on it and some peculiar design on the side. Like a zigzag lines on it, reflecting a small light as it glints in the dark. He then stood up, helping me as well.

"Half demon, that is. I didn't really became full since I stopped midway, letting the girl finish it by herself," he explained as I stopped him from walking away from me.

I then knitted my eyebrows, "Why were you afraid to show this to me then?"

He then sighed as he answered back, "Because if you stared at it much longer, you'll die."

"And I don't want anyone to die because of me. Most especially a girl," he said before walking towards Shin. I blinked, still analyzing what he had said. He wasn't really a bad person at all. I first thought that he would kill me though.

I guess I was wrong to judge.

I then heard a faint door opening as a girl coughed on the microphone before talking. I gave her a glare as she called out my name.

"So Mira, what is it going to be?" she asked as she went closer to the mic and whispered.

"Truth or Dare?" she stated, hearing a hint of distaste on her voice. I could practically hear some laughters on the background as I breathed deeply. Wow, I guess they really hate me.

A lot.

Her last dare was to end the academy's catastrophe. But it would cost something very dear. One dare is equivalent to one life. Who could it be?
